Have to love the 10,000 morons in the replies going, "LOL sounds like it'll improve it!" who probably never watched the show in the first place and just hate it because there's melanin in it.

The comment section is this strike's coverage has been so insufferable. Talk to them long enough and you realize how many people are anti-Union at their core. Just ghastly.

Teamsters might be one of the biggest factor going into this. Not only have they shown support for the WGA by being one of the parties going into the meeting with the other unions, one of their agreed to rules is that if there are at least two people picketing outside of a place they're driving to, they can turn around and drive back with their cargo and suffer nothing from it. So in theory, if this strike continues and more productions try to start that need equipment shipped in, planned shoots could shut down. You don't f*** with the Teamsters. And not just because of the historical ties to organized crime.

'-I- won't benefit from their attempts to prevent AI from gutting their industry, so screw them.' basically. it's almost as bad as 'I support them and their right to protest, but can't they do it in a way that is less inconvenient for others?'

The major bonus from the last strike was improving Breaking Bad. The major bonus from this one is were temporarily safe from Big Mouth.

The major bonus from the last strike was improving Breaking Bad. The major bonus from this one is were temporarily safe from Big Mouth. The major consequence from this one like the last will be most likely an extra round of Big Brother but a possible major bonus may be ABC airing an additional Monday Night Football simulcast a week before Dancing With the Stars returns and/or NHL and NBA having a special presentation on ABC (in thr case of NBA, more likely a preseason game). Another possible bonus? The chance of whatever postseason series Fox Sports gets will have a couple of extra games on Bart Simpson Fox

You know Disney is stressing when they actually give in and actually call them showrunners. For context, since Disney+ has launched, Disney has been fighting tooth and nail to call the showrunners of their D+ shows(particularly the MCU ones) anything but showrunners. Usually settling on the term “head writer” most of the time, while still giving them all the responsibilities the title showrunner brings.

Good. Karma's a giant bitch, glad they're stressing lol
