It's cool that we all like different things but I kind of hated it and the match itself wasn't really for me either. The world title four-way should have closed the show if it wasn't for Takeshita's turn, in my opinion MJF was asked about it in the post-show scrum and responded "What, and roll around in Jon Moxley's blood? No thank you." And then a longer answer about how "the title has to be last" is an outdated concept, but still. I think it worked out for everyone involved that the four way didn't have to try to follow a continuous Wild Thing concert, a barbwire poker chip, a Giant swing in the concession stand, an exploding Superkick, a Takeshita heel turn, four years worth of lore, and everything else that was Anarchy in the Arena II. Even if the approval rating on all this stuff isn't 100%, that is still going to burn out the crowd like crazy.

And also the Production truck apparently I loved the exploding superkick spot, it was ridiculous, but so was the match itself so it worked, and no one saw it coming. And, it looked REALLY REALLY good visually.

And people claim there's no way these menaces could have superkicked open Punk's locker room door? Checkmate atheists.

In general I'm a pretty firm advocate that if the title feels secondary to something else then it shouldn't main event and the pillars match certainly didn't have anywhere near the hype going into it Anarchy in the Arena did.

Plus, AitA 2 had a very consequential finish that made it worthy to main event.

If you wanted to really position the pillars as those guys you def should have put them in the main event
But, AITA had a shit ton of stat power so can't really argue against it

Sorta like how Lights Out matches go last. (Or should, anyway. It's weird when they don't, and it invariably f***s up the atmosphere.)

Don't they have a crew to place a new mat like WWE has with their people?

Dude I know you love then, but there is no way House Of Black title defenses should main event every time!

Now that I think about it, the only time Anarchy in the Arena/Stadium Stampede didn't main event was the first DoN because it didn't exist yet and 2022 with Punk/Hangman because er. yeah.

It's not like a lot of indies or the late '90s where you could end up with a really filthy mat without the crew giving a shit.

I helped out some dudes who kept trying to maim these other guys I was on mostly neutral terms with because I keep losing big matches and one of them's ex-manager tells me he can help with that. Am I the asshole?

I like how that happened out of nowhere, I don't think the announcers even tried to explain it.
The fact Moxley eventually got up afterwards just adds to it
