You see what the Celtics are doing, that is what the Knicks should have done last night, come one play better.

Game 6 tomorrow between the Knicks and Sixers starts at 9 pm EST.
I’m trying to figure out how that makes sense but I’m drawing a blank.

hard to really feel all that upset about losing that badly to Dallas, Luka owns us. I haven't gone into a game against him thinking oh we've got the advantage in years. I would've rather faced pretty much anyone else, hopefully the season isn't over

Standing ovation for Mike Gorman as he finishes his final game. What a way to send him off. It was the way he deserved to end his career - calling a blowout Celtics playoff win in Boston. I know the name Mike Gorman probably means little to fans outside of New England, but he's a basketball institution. He was the voice of The Big East in the 1980s, his resume includes the NCAA Tournament and multiple Olympics, and he's been calling Celtics basketball since 1981. For generations of Celtics fans, he's the voice they recognize when they think of Celtics basketball, neck-and-neck with - if not entirely supplanting - Johnny Most. As for the series itself, there's really not a lot to say - Boston was far and away the better team even before Miami lost Jimmy Butler, Terry Rozier, and Jaime Jaquez Jr. Those three might have combined for one more win, but the Heat were never pushing this to seven games. Also, for all the plaudits and praise he receives, Erik Spoelstra really got pantsed in this series by Joe Mazzulla. Sure, the talent gap alone was going to be too wide for an undermanned Heat team to overcome, but I'm astonished that Spoelstra took nothing away from Miami's lone victory in Game 2. In that game, the Heat shot 43 three-pointers and hit 23 of them. With the talent disparity, that was the only way they had a chance against Boston - stand behind the arc and let it fly. And they completely abandoned that gameplan for the remainder of the series, shooting 28 threes in Game 3, 33 in Game 4, and 29 last night. Now, some of that might have just been that Miami was really lucky in Game 2, considering they went 3-for-29 from downtown last night, but they did nothing to try to replicate the success of their lone victory. Mazzulla and the Celtics' defense baited Miami into dumping the ball into the post and giving Bam Adebayo every shot he wanted, and the Heat gladly went along with it.
