So is Markelle Fultz like a good player these days? I haven't followed him at all since the Philly disaster.

LeBron capitalizing Sun has me on edge hoping for Phoenix to form an All Star choke squad next year. I need chaos.

Other NBA news: - Lakers (LeBron) have "strong interest" in CP3 if he waived since they would want to sign him to vet minimum and have money for other moves. CP3 has also expressed interest in staying in Phoenix
- Hawks have made "everyone" available for a trade except Trae Young
- Pacers are looking to trade the number 7 pick for a wing
- Pistons have strong interest in Cam Johnson but Nets expect to retain him since he is an RFA
- Potential Dallas/ATL trade out there. Bertans/No 10 pick for Collins/No 15 pick

So is Markelle Fultz like a good player these days? I haven't followed him at all since the Philly disaster. He is. He actually managed to stay mostly healthy last year, wasn't a total disaster from deep, and he shot over 50% from the field. He's in a weird in-between area where Orlando has picks 6 and 11, and obviously one of the positions they would look to upgrade would be PG with so much invested in Paolo, Franz, and Suggs. But Suggs hasn't really developed like they'd hoped, so the gap between him and Fultz is nonexistent. But if they get someone like Black to be the future floor general, then Fultz becomes kind of repetitive. So he might not be long for Orlando, but he's a passable starter in the NBA with a jumper that is no longer broken, which at one point looked almost impossible.

Draymond expected to decline his PO and become a FA
However, Warriors and new GM Mike Dunleavy Jr want to bring him back
Imo, paying him more than $10M a year would be asinine. Warriors need him but he's been washed for a few years and is just a major headache. His value is tied to the Warriors because anywhere else he is not as effective
Tho I expect the Warriors owner to force a deal because Mike is a puppet. Draymond most likely gets a $20M AAV deal and they will be forced to move players like Poole and Wiggins because the new CBA is around the corner

Sonics fans gotta feeling bitter seeing all these sites talk about their title as a title for the Thunder since Denver left the ringless club. I’m sure OKC fans don’t love it either. Shoutout to former champions the Kings and the Hawks. twitter.com/SportsCenter/status/1670094502382514178

Heat and Suns are in "serious talks" for Beal with Miami looking to be the leader
Their package is built around Lowry and picks with Olapido or Duncan for salary matching purposes
Miami don't want to move Herro and Wizards don't want long term contracts back in the trade

So he might not be long for Orlando, but he's a passable starter in the NBA with a jumper that is no longer broken, which at one point looked almost impossible. I feel the need to add to this, since when I talk to other Magic fans Fultz is often the most commonly debated player. The disagreement isn't so much if he's good but whether he is the right fit for a team built to maximize the skillsets of Paolo and Franz. His jumper isn't completely broken anymore but his mechanics get bad the farther out it gets so he still struggles on long twos and threes. He also isn't great in the pick and roll and for as good as he is at driving to the rim he's surprisingly bad a drawing fouls.
I like him and I think he would be a great backup on most teams and a passable starter for teams with sufficient long distance shooting to makeup for his lack there. I don't think that team is the Magic though I think we need a PG that can run a better pick and roll with Paolo and also has enough of a three point shot to provide spacing and give more room for Paolo to work inside and Franz to drive to the rim.

More Ja news, apparently when he met with the commissioner, (first suspension) he blamed liquor at the strip club for the first incident and professed that he wasn't that kind of guy and Silver believed. Silver feels lied to which is in part why he got the 25 games on top of other rumors around his name

He was the jersey Mark Wahlberg wore in The Other Guys, and that movie seems like it came out 20 years ago.

I don't know, you guys never kept anybody for more than a couple years in that era. Like Steve Francis or the aforementioned Gallo.
