I just want Sting to not do that spot again. It was cool that he CAN (for the most part) do it... but he doesn't NEED to do it.

8 Brokenhearted Hangman's out of 10.
Solid show, but something felt off...
However, Ishii and Mox slapped (as the youngin's like to say)..

Caught up this AM and honestly, I have to agree with some of the folks that went 5. I'm between 5 and 6. The wrestling itself was good but it still just feels like things were off.
A few thoughts: 1. Mox/Ishii was great. The BCC and Elite stuff is still some of the best stuff on Dynamite. 2. The 6 man tag between DO and Elite was pretty good, but I just don't care about Dark Order anymore. 3. Adam Cole/MJF turned a corner, I think it's going to be fun. 4. Jungle Boy sucks and I worry this whole thing may end up exposing Hook as still needing a lot of polish, too. 5. I truly, truly don't give a f*** about The Painmaker. The promo with Jericho sucked, too. 6. Sting's going to hurt himself bad if he's not careful. A lot of his stunts to date have been calculated risk but that last night was just straight up reckless.
My big takeaway is that so far, Collision just seems to be better paced than Dynamite. I think there's lessons that Tony can learn from letting stuff breath. They're trying to cram too much into one show, IMO.

7 I guess? Weird weird episode. Just everything felt off in some way. Think Sting being a crazy old bastard bumped this up a whole point to me though. Damn I love that man.

I watched this show the next day and really enjoyed it, was kinda surprised to see it get such a mixed reaction.
I thought it did a good job building off of what happened at FD2
I liked both 6 man matches, The Dark Order/Hangman drama really got me.
Sting being an aboslute psycho in the main event was a highlight

Watched all of it and it would've been like a 6.9 (nice) or so, so I rounded up to a 7. I agree with everyone who said the show felt off, though there were apparently a lot of weird circumstances so I gave it some leniency there. Main event was excellent and that also contributed a lot to bump my rating. I'm also really liking this MJF/Adam Cole frenemies stuff.

7. Some good stuff: I actually quite liked OC/Lee/Vikingo for randomness, Ruby's promo was good, Cole/MJF was at least interesting in and of itself though it is now painfully obvious that the only reason for the tag tourney is them because they haven't even tried to make anybody care about anything else. Swerve and Keith Lee together again, HOW CREATIVE AND INTERESTING WOW.
Some stuff I didn't care for: I am so beyond caring about Mox going over random NJPW guys in pointless matches, although his drama with Eddie is at least moderately interesting. I both am annoyed at Sting never putting anyone over in matches and think AEW was stupid for signing off on him jumping off a ladder through a table, which he nearly hurt himself badly on. As it was he cracked his face and his knees. Imagine if that was it, the big end to Sting's career being him jumping through a table against the Painmaker.
Hangman is like the worst friend ever, and the fact it was being presented as a heel move that Dark Order let him get his ass kicked was very funny. Yes, Hangman, you totally had to save the Young Bucks and that's why you couldn't call or talk to the DO for months. Sure.

Yes, Hangman, you totally had to save the Young Bucks and that's why you couldn't call or talk to the DO for months. Sure. Listen to Schiavone and Taz during that match intro. Schiavone condones what Hangman did and Taz rightfully calls him out on it.
