I can't remember if Carmen Sandiego's North American map was just the Big 3 + Central America or if it had the Caribbean countries, too. If it was the latter, some of those tiny island nations could be rough to remember which is which outside of Haiti, Dominican Republic, Cuba, and Jamaica. If the former, it had to be the easiest along with South America. I want to say there was a separate US map very early on, but I also want to say at some point they started adding cities and rivers and things other than states to mix things up. Pretty sure the North American map did indeed include the Caribbean countries, because I want to say I remember at least one episode where the Chief started naming off the potential countries and you could see the oh shit look on the contestant's face when they cut back.

Nick Arcade was the toughest. I don't think more than 10 people won it in its entire run. I can't even think of any episodes where the kids beat the Video Zone off the top of my head. At least with Legends of the Hidden Temple, I can remember episodes where the teams got the artifact out of the Temple, even if I had to rewatch the Temple Runs on YouTube. (I haven't regularly watched Legends since Nick GaS ended).

Thinking back on it, we really liked watching kids get tormented in the 90's game shows didn't we? Guts, Nick Arcade, Legends of the Hidden Temple, even Double Dare to a degree.
Also it kinda f***ed me up that Moira, the referee from Guts, became a voice actress after her tenure there. She voiced Elly in Xenogears! She was also in Skyrim and Hogwarts Legacy.

the other part of thye Carmen Sandiego bonus round was also the sheer size of the markers.
some contestants were almost the same size as them.
The Temple and Video Zone were absolutely up there.
The Video zone would probably be easier now... but they were using some cutting edge tech at the time.

First season had the US map. every season after had the North American map with Canadian provinces, US States, and Latin American countries. It was probably the 2nd easiest map besides Europe. In order of difficulty: Europe, North America, South America, Asia, Africa.

And I love that they keep the plugs for prizes intact. Skechers shoes! Candy! RC cars! A trip to space camp! Side note: I find that show airing on a channel with that name somewhat ironic, since parents would be the ones most likely to appreciate an old Nickelodeon show like that. After all, people who are parents now grew up when Nick was in its prime. (And boy do I feel old just typing that.)

I guess Season 1 is the only one they could get the rights to?

Maybe two or three teams won at Knightmare in it's entire run.

I'm going with the Video Zone from Nick Arcade. Not only must it have been hella awkward for the kids to flail about in front of a blue/green screen while having to stare at some monitor to show them what's going on, they only had one minute to complete three rounds! ONE!
And that's not counting the (possibly unintended) luck of the draw when it came to which boss a given would face: Mongo was a pushover, seemingly every team that went against him won. Where as Merlock was practically the exact opposite & wrecked teams left & right.

Where as Merlock was practically the exact opposite & wrecked teams left & right. At least based off of my impressions from watching it during its original run and Nick GaS reruns, Mongo was by far the most common to the point of annoyance, Merlock seemed to be middle of the road in frequency and difficulty, and Scorchia seemed the least common and the most difficult. That being said, going back and watching some random clips on YouTube, I was trying to see if I could notice a difference in the attack patterns, but it's like 95% of the wizard level clips I can find are the contestants not grasping the concept of a hitbox and draining their energy within seconds, restarting the level, and then either running out of time or lucking into getting the three orbs. I have a sneaking suspicion they were all the same difficulty but just reskins of one another and it just seemed like there was a difference, but my unscientific observation is that Merlock and Scorchia seem to have much shorter "preparing fireball" animations than Mongo, and you'd *think* Scorchia would be easier on account of having the smallest sprite of the three of them, but who knows.
