Nice rebound despite the competition like UFC 290, Gold Cup.

That was my guess/hope that they would bounce back to week 3ish numbers with the stacked card.

Top 5 in cable, WBD is surely happy based on what we know.

Ugh, I read it beat Rampage and with a stacked Collision card this week that's likely to happen again. We need a good card rampage the week after so us Rammers can fire back, like this Ram

Main event of Punk/Joe highest quarter in total viewers and demo. Was 7.8% and 5.7% over the episode average, respectively.

If the first QH didnt start that low they couldve beaten NASCAR and clinch 4th place on cable.
TK has a tough decision in which match should close this weeks show, either Ricky/Punk or FTR/BCG tag title match.

Curious if the same people who told us Punk isn’t a draw after last weeks rating will carry the same energy. Advertised to wrestle and they are up 28% in total viewers, 62% in the demo.
I definitely think the number can and should be better but it’s a fine start. And if there’s any doubt on who is winning the Owen, there shouldn’t be.

Either the audience got bored of that tag match like I did or TK needs to put a blue dot on Christian ASAP.

I think everyone has had enough Collision ratings/CM Punk talk to last them a lifetime, but if this isn't a sign of how much expectations have dropped off a cliff I don't know what is. If someone had said a few months ago a show with CM Punk vs Samoa Joe would do less total viewers than an average episode of NXT, the response wouldn't be 'holy shit, still got it, what a draw'.

When has NXT been in the top 5 programs for the day? And guess what, when Seth went to NXT and popped a huge number it was indicative that he is a far bigger draw relative to anyone else on the brand. Just like Punk.

The competition Punk/Joe had was Robbie Lawler final fight and farewell from the UFC and the first half of Mexico/Costa Rica.

Very few channels put original programming on Saturdays at 8 pm so it’s hard to compare against a Wednesday night when talking about purely rankings. I think NXT viewership and Collision viewership will be similar, but Collision should be ahead in the demo most weeks due to the age of NXT viewers always skewing so old.

UFC is also ice cold right now so I’m not sure how much crossover there is anyways. Punk has his fans and is still a draw, but he’s definitely not the draw that he thinks that he is either. 🤷🏻♂️

We will see how much crossover there is between Wrestling and sports fans tomorrow when Dynamite goes head to head with USA/Panama

Glad both the tag match and Punk vs Joe did good numbers. Well-earned for both matches.

That's the reason for that energy. If you set stupid 1m expectations you're also setting yourself up for failure even if ratings are fine. Viewers going up at the end of a show is relatively rare so fair play. On the flipside is that the ceiling of what he can draw and what's the floor with or without him? Would suggest it'll be rare it'll go above this rating or whatever this week's will be assuming a stacked card leads to an increase.
