5, I guess. MJF has been fantastic but I didn’t really enjoy much else. The Nick Wayne match was solid but him losing just leads to a big shrug on my end.
Not to mention I am kind over how many jobber to the stars matches Dynamite has every week. Jericho/Kommander did nothing for me. 15 minutes to get to the most obvious ending ever.

8. Fun show. Enjoyed about everything. Loved Pac coming back and loved the nods to Bad News.

9/10
- Opener was a good one and the Jericho/Callis angle is compelling.
- JAS vs. OC/Darby was entertaining.
- MJF/Cole vs. Bill/Cage was just fantastic and the antics of disingenuous face MJF are just fun stuff.
- Ruby/Skye was good and I’m glad Ruby got the win clean without any interference bullshit.
- Nick Wayne/Swerve was a great debut for the former.
- Blood and Guts reveals were expected, but great reveals nonetheless. Kenny going full anime after Ibushi’s reveal cracked me up.

6 Nick Wayne has a bright ass future ahead of him. He also looks like the love child of Bryan Danielson and Matt Riddle. The opening match wasn't good. I appreciate Jericho working with newer talent, and this had to be a dream match for Komander, but it was clunky. The first Blind Tag Tourney Match didn't reach the heights I thought it would. The MJF/Cole match was saved by their fun chemistry (quickly becoming something I look forward to each week. It'll be such a waste when the turn happens). Tony Schiavone being angry the entire match at Max was great. Taz to Schiavone: "You're like the principal around here..." HOOK: "Keep running Perry" *wasn't he right behind him on the ground?* I wasn't into the Skye Blue/Ruby Soho match, but I'm glad Saraya and Toni were sent to the back. PAC is back. Cool. I hope it's long enough to actually build some momentum. Kota is coming. Also cool. I clapped, but I would've loved it more had he been there in person. This one was tougher to sit through than the last few weeks. But they all can't be winners. I am looking forward to next week. I thought the guy laid out behind the car Jack got out of was just meant to be some kind of security that Hook laid out to force his way into the car, because didn't Jack run away in the other direction when he got out of the car?

Yup you're 100% right. I went back and re-watched (a bit more sober this time) and the guy on the ground has a different color shirt and everything. How embarrassing. I failed the CIA test.

Miss me with Kommander. As always. Jericho needs to start evaluating whether to pull back on the lionsault. Definitely feels like Jericho’s being repositioned as a big thing again.
I’m liking jungle jack, man. He got some chuckles out of me. He reminds me a lot of young(er) Adam Page a lot and that’s a good thing. The hook stuff is good, move away from the same car, parking lot skit, or do something big production-wise.
8 seems fair. Not the greatest show but enjoyable. I appreciate how experimental they continue to be.

Went with an 8. Fun show overall.
Loved how Nick Wayne's debut went down.
Did not love any of the Jericho stuff.
Cole and MJF are fantastic together and shouldn't break up haha.
Still nothing for the goddamn women's champion lol. Guess she's doing something on Rampage but seriously? Rampage? Sigh whatever.
Harley Cameron is legit hilarious lmao

Jericho/Kommander was largely fine but was definitely sloppy towards the end. OC/Darby vs Sammy/Garcia and MJF/Cole vs Brian/Bill were both pretty fun, and the MJF/Cole friendship continues to be completely wonderful and absurd. The Hook and Perry Jungle Jack Boy feud is still in a holding pattern though the segment last night was fun. Ruby vs Skye was fine. Nick Wayne vs Swerve was great - Wayne got a lot of shine and looked like a million bucks while Swerve got a much needed win on a major show. And what can I say about the BCC vs Elite feud other than it is a truly fantastic blood feud.
Would be an 8, but the one-two punch of PAC's return and KOTA GODDAMN IBUSHI bumps it to a 9.

KENNET! AM THA FIFTH MEMBA!
PAC = RATINGS. 10/10.
Also, Swerve breaking arms, Don Callis having the best theme in wrestling and the proposition of Ibushi doing some mad shit, just pump it directly into my bloodstream.

It was alright. Jericho's match was meh and I don't really know Ibushi so I don't care about that. At least there wasn't much BCC this week (though PAC joining them here does make sense, at least).
On the flip side, Swerve actually won and while in a vacuum beating a teenager is a low bar to clear, it's not like he's been clearing many lately. Ruby/Blue was good and had the right winner, both tag matches were good and MJF/Cole continues to be super fun and makes Adam Cole seem more important than he's ever been before in AEW. So I'll give it an 8 despite the weak parts.

Horrible choice for an opener (seriously, who's idea was it for a Jericho/Kommander match in 2023 to go that long) but show rebounded very well and finished great; I'm finding Dynamite a lot more palatable at the moment, I feel like there's a lot going on right now to keep me interested. 8/10.

Huh I forgot to rate this one. I'll give it a 7, it had that real 'throwing stuff at the wall' feel to it, which is kind of a blessing and a curse at the same time.

Barely watched. I normally wouldn't even vote if I barley watched a show, but I figured it I would because of the reason.
The opening match and everything surrounding it was terrible. Dragging up a 30 year-old stable that nobody I've talked to actually remembers didn't really make me care about the whole will he / won't he thing with Jericho and Callis.
I wasn't feeling the MJF / Cole segment. I realize a lot were, but it's just not my thing.
I find Darby Allin entertaining, but Orange Cassidy is an immediate channel changer for me. If the first 30 to 40 minutes doesn't give me anything I like, I'm checking out for the night.

I went with a 2. Outside of the Cole-MJF stuff the rest bored me. The Jericho vs Komander was terrible. Hopefully MJF-Cole will win the tournament. Legitimately have no idea why you watch AEW, everyone's entitled to an opinion but you seem to dislike almost everything and give every show a low rating, even the ones that get critical acclaim, while also being keen to point out how relevant negative ratings are, how you won't be buying upcoming PPV's while also pointing out how amazing WWE is now. It comes across so disingenuous, but if it's genuine why on earth are you still watching? It must be utterly miserable watching a show like last night that virtually everyone loved and thinking "that's a 2 for me". Respectfully, did you feel this way about the WWE rating threads for years when when the most frequently voted option was a 1? Did you question why all those people tuned in week after week to watch something that clearly gave them no enjoyment? For that matter, was it even questioned whether those people were actually watching the shows? I'm not trying to come at you, but it just seems off to go in on someone for doing something that has always been acceptable on this board. To be a hundred about things, criticizing that person's opinion seems even stranger when the original premise of the Rate the Raw threads was something to the effect of the OP saying, "I'm known as a huge WWE hater and I just want to see if everybody else hates the product as much as me." That's paraphrasing, but I recall that being the general sentiment.

For someone who has only been here a couple of months, you sure seem to care a lot about polls about the other promotion going back years.
And stop with the "I'm not coming at you" shtick because that's completely dishonest.

I wasn't coming at the individual I quoted. There was nothing disrespectful, aggressive or personal in what I posted. I posted here years ago, lost access due to changing email, forgotten password, etc. I decided to rejoin when I saw an off-topic a cool thread about musical hot takes that I wanted to post in. As for the ratings threads, I find them interesting. I like to give my opinion about a show and I like to read the opinions of others.

I won't rate it, but I didn't like the show for the most part.
The opening match was ... long and Komander doesn't have enough babyface energy to counteract Jericho. I zoned out.
The tag match involved wrestlers I don't like doing things I don't like.
The MJF/Cole vs. Bill/Cage match was my highlight. Great, simple work from all wrestlers involved. MJF is almost too over the top at the moment, but I enjoy him much more than his usual heel self. I'd like the Bill/Cage team to continue in some form.
The Swerve/Wayne match was not good. Wayne didn't look nervous, but I'm sure he was. He tried a lot of complicated stuff and much of it didn't look clean. However, the reverse hurricanrana and the cutter looked great. I'd like for him to show off some more basic stuff. So far I can tell he is athletic and has an understanding of how to work. It was a total mistake to not end the match after the kick following that insane powerbomb. The armbreaker should have happened before Wayne's final flurry.
I didn't care for the final segment. Both teams do nothing for me, but PAC returning is always great. Everytime he returns he is more ripped. I'm sure some water would help with his mood. Then Omega spoke and I had to zone out. I'm not familiar with Ibushi outside of his short WWE days, but from what I remember he has great babyface energy, which is something AEW lacks.
If I had to rate the show, I'd give a 4/10.
