Let’s see what happens but if the performance Center can help him then good.

Said it in the AEW thread, but I think the NXT systen will benefit him immensely if he wants it and they have interest.

Okay so obviously it is his own life, and he gets to choose what he does
But from where I am sitting this is the stupidest thing he has ever done
What happened to Brian Snr himself? That you can debate the WWE responsibility for because of just how wrestling is.
But Brian. Kiddo. They put your mother on TV and asked her how she would feed her family. In front of millions of people. What the f*** are you doing?
Vince is still there running the show. The exact man that did it. This isn't like a year ago when he had 'retired'
I'm not normally the kind of guy to say this kind of shit but can you imagine being one of his kids when you get older and finding out that shit, finding footage of your grieving grandmother on WWE TV, and your dad chose to go back and work for them? I feel like that would shatter any respect I had for my father to find that shit out.

Semi surprised by this because for years he harbored a hatred towards them because he felt they enabled his mom's drug use.
Aside from being a giant moron (at least going by his social media), the bigger issue for Pillman in AEW was he just wasn't ready for the spotlight he was given. NXT may help him as a performer but he also has to grow up a little bit

Given the amount of talented folks who seemingly can't get out of NXT, I don't see him succeeding there.

Honestly I think a run in Impact might have done him some good; its a bit more of a low pressure environment that he could both learn from while still experiment in. NXT has its virtues, but its not hard to imagine him getting boxed into a role that he likely won't be skilled enough to get out of long term.

Maybe the performance center can bring something out of him that's unique and worth building on, but once he went from tag team squashing randos on Youtube to Actual AEW Television he seemed so completely doomed. He's only 29, so too young to fully rule out that he finds something original and interesting to go for, but I'm not holding my breath for it.

Impact does have a smaller roster, so Pillman Jr. would have had a better chance of going up the card there.

I'm surprised WWE even had any interest in him because he's pretty bad in every aspect. If they can get something out of him, great. But I have my doubts.

I dont think the guy is as bad as some here seem to think, and with someone like Regal overseeing him, I still say NXT will benefit him more than any Indie would.
