Will also add that she was posting stuff with a gigantic infowars watermark. Might as well wave an actual red flag at that point. She'd call that communism

Wider, I wonder if the usual yearly releases will start happening once the deal is over the line? I mean, a lot of people are expecting that, at least on the corporate consolidation side of things, but I wouldn’t be surprised. I’d rather not will it into existence by talking about it, though. Not to be mean but there literally has never been a corporate merger being completed without a massive amount of cuts. Even the most financially well businesses, just because of roles being different. It’s ridiculous and doesn’t make any real sense but that’s just how this stuff works.

I liked the "Sassy Southern Belle" character and thought they should've built that up more. Since then (the Flair stuff and beyond), I haven't really been interested.

On Lacey, putting aside her views (and as an Autistic person, F*** her and all like her), it is mindboggling to me how many chances she was given considering nothing was working. Even if some of the characters were mismanaged, there are people who are still in the company or not in the company who were one and dones when there was no reason to be.
Like, the best they had for Swerve Strickland was “5th wheel on a rap stable blatantly put together by old white people”.

This one is difficult. Was she overpushed at times, could be a better worker? Yes and yes. But I dug the pinup girl gimmick she first had. She did go through gimmick decay after that though.
Wonder if her "issues" with Sgt. Slaughter were too much for the WWE? (maybe if they didn't want to jeopardize a Legends deal, other than that... ??)

She's a rare case where they probably dropped the ball a time or 2 with her but she's such an atrocious person that it worked out for the best. Assuming she did something unsafe for FAN? It usually works out that way when one says she was a horrible person.

Mostly a bunch of Instagram posts about Autism and ADHD "not being around when she was a kid" and blaming processed food. That's the problem with listening to quacks. At least the quacks can say that, because most of the research into autism and ADHD started in the late 1980, so kids weren't classed as autistic, instead they were written off and put into "special" classes (my school called it remedial). Lacey Evans was born in 1990 and the same age as the kids in the dodgy trial done by the quack who created the "vaccines cause autism" conspiracy theory. Speaking as someone who is about two weeks her junior, ADHD was absolutely around when we were kids. Only difference is the addition of "Hyperactivity" to the name; it was just ADD when I was younger.

I don't think so, I wouldn't be shocked if the last straw was her absolutely ripping on Barbie dolls and the movie...which the Barbie IP is owned by one of WWE's largest sponsors in Mattel. As for cuts, while I wouldn't be shocked if there are any, the fact that they are bringing Kairi Sane back apparently (and if Dave is to be believed, one of her sticking points with not staying with Bushiroad was money), leads me to believe that there won't be many on the talent side of things. If anything it'll probably just be NIL deals being more closely examined, and developmental deals.

Shes an odd one. She has a good look and some talent that could have been worked on but they never knew what to really do with her.She has some horrible views in real life yet before i even knew this i had a cameo from her where she was very sweet, kind and funny. A person who has bad opinions isnt always a bad human being in real life i think (like Kane with some of his opinions which are awful at times but he has always been a good guy when meeting him).

Sgt. Slaughter can watch SD in peace now!
Girl has some charisma but her matches were a giant filler until she won it outta nowhere with her punch.

It's very hard to separate Lacey's personal views from the performer but I'll try.
Lacey in many ways is/was kind of the female version of Austin Theory where the office loved everything about the look but the performer just wasn't ready for the role she was put it. I think there were 2 brief moments pre pandemic where she kind of started getting over as a face but the rug was pulled out from under her.
As a performer, she was another in a long line of cases where the WWE just didn't let a performer develop into a role that suit them.
Now when you see that she's kind of a crappy person? Makes things that much worse

Her views specifically affect people like me so I wish her a totally civilian life where nobody ever hears from her again
She was not completely lacking in talent. WWE 100% f***ed this up. I hated all the aspects about her they would be into playing up, but it is extremely easy to get over using them. So they really screwed the pooch on this one.

Honestly, she could have been a slam dunk. "All-American Blond Bombshell Veteran Babyface" is pretty hard to screw up, but Vince has no idea how to book likeable babyfaces anymore and by the time he was out of the picture creatively, Lacey was damaged goods.
As for her opinions otherwise? She can get f***ed.
