Hmm all of the "Bucks/The Elite are ratings killers!!!!" people from last week sure are quiet today. I wonder why. *looks at the rating The Elite match did* Oh that's why.

Dynamite seems to have trained it's audience to skip the main event

The opening quarter is always the high point due to the Big Bang Theory. Unless you're being sarcastic and if you are, my apologies.

And number two, there have been plenty of weeks where the first quarter is not the high point. For example, the stuff with MJF/Cole has consistently been the highest rated segments lately. So to say that the highest quarter is automatically the highest is wrong.

I was wondering how there were going to be any talking points with this very milquetoast rating, but “Sheldor saved the Bucks from being ratings poison” wasn’t what I had on my bingo card.

The sudden dip in Q2 only to recover a little in Q3 is weird for Dynamite.

In the 1940s, there was a chicken who lived for eighteen months after its head had been cut off, capable of clumsily walking and making awful gurgling noises through the remainder of its pathetic existence. Such is all that I see when I look at AEW; another week it has shambled on, gurgling through its head stump while it can barely be said to survive another night. But such is all it is. You may think there is life still left within it solely because its heart beats, but the truth is clear, and every week is another step toward the certainty of a demise foretold with a swing of an axe further in the past than any are bold enough to admit. The blood of the killing blow has already dried, but destiny moves upon a scale that mere mortals could never truly comprehend. There will be no denying the open grave that the headless body of this promotion shall simply fall in to.

OK, while it's true that the MJF/Cole segments have out-done the opening quarter a few times, I challenge you to see how often this year that the first quarter hour has been the highest rated quarter of the show regardless of who was featured on it and conclude why that is.

And The Elite held strong in that quarter and didn't drop the viewership at all, the viewership dropped for Moxley vs Fenix, and I'd consider that a surprise since it's Moxley Almost like... ratings are weird and don't always go by the wrestlers so blaming the wrestlers specifically for a wildly fluctuating metric is stupid.

Dynamite seems to have trained it's audience to skip the main event Not at all, main events can draw for AEW, it just depends on the match, sometimes the match can draw viewers, sometimes earlier matches draw them more, it happens, but they haven't been trained to skip it at all.

Aew need to recreate it with Alistair Black holding a chicken.
