Simple question because I think one or both may make an appearance. If you could have just one of them arrive in AEW, which do you pick?

Mercedes. The women's division is much more need of strong workers and star power. Plus I imagine she would work a more regular schedule than Edge even if they each would probably not be there every week.

Mercedes would have a much bigger impact. The division needs a big star with a lot of experience. If Edge doesn't come to AEW, nothing would really change.

Mone is younger, and the women's division could use another big name signing, so her.

Edge. Well sort of, I think Mercedes would be a better addition but I just get the feeling she'd up the drama levels too much.
The usual discourse, plus her Stan's who are even crazier, a high chance of backstage drama and that's before you get to any potential booking issues.

Mercedes walked out on the WWE, and you could argue they have a better booked women's division. Unless things get a lot better I can't see her lasting in AEW for long. And I get the feeling that's why we haven't seen her yet.

AEW needs Mercedes more than Edge but I don't think she alone will fix the woman's division. The AEW woman's division doesn't have a talent problem, it has a booking problem.

Isn't Mercedes currently injured?

Granted if a strongly-booked division is the biggest attraction for Mercedes, she would've joined Trinity in Impact by now.

I think Mone brings the higher upside and potential longevity to a women's division who could use her name power

Never been the biggest fan of Mercedes, always been a massive Edge fan so definitely Edge. But I don’t really want him as a full timer, do E&C vs Hardy’s one last time, and against Bucks and FTR then wrap up the show with a singles match between Adam and Jay. I’d be more then happy with that

And I get the feeling that's why we haven't seen her yet. Then get her in, sell merch, have a title run then put someone over. If she is ok with it she stays, if not she's given you some money. Though with Tony's record, we'd have a 3rd show for her and her friends in 6 months.

I feel like Mercedes might finally make Tony stop being such a lazy asshole with the women's division. While they do need some starpower and all, more than anything they need a booker that will give a shit and Mercedes might be the one thing that makes him do that for more than 5-10 minutes per non ROH show.
Edge just didn't do it for me in his last WWE run, but if he wants to support Christian in the anti Dead Dads coalition that's fine.

Feel like Mercedes would demand a level of attention and commitment that khan sometimes doesn't show the women's roster. She'd help just by being herself and calling out bullshit when she sees it

Mercedes.
Maybe she could help the women get a 2nd freaking match.
But no, we need the ROH tag titles defended for an angle that doesn't need it.

My preference would be Edge because I've never been a fan of Mercedes, but I still agree with everyone who says they need her more than him.

Edge if it's a one-off appearance. Mercedes if it's actually signing the person to a long-term deal.
