Bitch ass hausman asked if anything was done to jack perry and Tony said “uh I told you everyone involved was suspended, he is included and that’s all I can say” This dude is gonna end up blacklisted lol Hausman needs to be shoved into a locker.

If I was Tony Khan, I'd take Hausman aside after the scrum and say "If you're going to continue being Punk's media puppet, this will be your last scrum." This is just sad.

TK talking about how having that All In ticket number will be a feather in their cap especially when it comes to pro wrestling media rights in regards to streaming and other services
Also said AEW has helped other smaller federations as well

TK said he saw JJ/Lethal against Flair in his “last match” and that got the ball rolling on ole double J said that their promotion styles are different but there seems be a very legitimate fondness for not only his style but his dad’s style as well Jarrett also seems like he's the guy who got Rodman involved, too. He was in the behind-the-scenes videos with Rodman that the Bulls posted on their instagram.

Wrestledream is on the day it is to honor the day Inoki passed and in regards to the NFL rolling full steam on that date, TK stated he will almost never run right against the NFL because of how big they are but it is the day he passed and that is important to him

Was asked how much of OC’s run was to go against naysayers of OC and had a great answer for that basically propping him up and ignoring naysayer part of it entirely
what we should all do, myself included even if the naysayer pisses me off lmao

TK was asked how this week was and he said it was indeed the most stressful week of his life but not only because of the wrestling stuff, the premier league transfer window contributed a lot to that and he got very little sleep
said he went a few days without sleep due to that transfer window, says everything wrestling wise was knocked out of the park and said the production team was tested to a new unprecedented length but did great

TK was very kind to all of the reporters saying it’s very cool a lot of them made it to both shows and is thankful that they’re getting the coverage
TK also asked someone in the back if there will be a grand slam scrum and seemed to say they’ll try to make it happen
that’s a wrap god DAMN it feels good actually wanting to watch all that and report it without worrying about bullshit, whew. good stuff good night!

Ok, not sure where else to put this but please clarify for me in any case;
Am I making it up where I remember TK said he has Final Countdown paid for two events rather than one? Since, likely, he wanted to use it in Wembley for a Omega/Danielson II?
Because I feel like I’m losing my mind people even jokingly being like “He’s spent the Punk money on FC” and “He must have it for more than one match”. I know these pressers are full of mundane questions but I distinctly remember that.

Thank you. So from what we know, it was this show and Forbidden Door that were paid for.

This reads very much like a “We remembered who the f*** we actually are” kind of show. Hopefully they can keep up the momentum from this and Wembley.

TK said something very big is coming to the United Center Labor Day Weekend in 2024 so his initial thought is using the NOW Arena for next year at least. That’s likely the Democratic National Convention, so yeah, no way anything else goes on at United Center for around a week during that.

I wouldn't think it would take that long to break down and set up for AEW. I was at a concert at United Center last Sunday, so that's less time. There must be something else planned closer to actual Labor Day Weekend.

Well, I'll be damned, you're right; that seems earlier than usual for those events, president's party often has theirs closer to Labor Day. So much for that guess!

Tony saying he doesn't listen to any criticism of how PPVs are built up because the shows always turn out great is...spectacularly missing the point.

Tony saying he doesn't listen to any criticism of how PPVs are built up because the shows always turn out great is...spectacularly missing the point. I'll say that I think it depends on a few things, mainly what in particular people mean when they don't like the build and how Tony perceives "turning out great" to mean in the grander scheme of things. The main complaint to have is that the card took a long time to take shape; even as of just a little bit ago there were still only, what, three matches or so announced? When you're asking people to plan on spending $50, especially a week after All In, it's not unfair to want to know what you'll be asked to pay for more ahead of time so you can plan appropriately. That said, almost none of the matches were out of nowhere: Omega/Takeshita has had a long build, OC vs. Mox was part of the larger BCC vs. Best Friends feud (and the culmination of OC's title reign story), Eddie and Claudio wanting to kill one another is evergreen material, the ROH tag match was more about the continuing MJF/Cole dynamic and Dark Order's heel turn, etc., all stuff that's been happening on weekly shows and gotten promo time or free matches ahead of time to build. Whether that makes up for the matches not being formally announced more ahead of time is subjective; I both understand that view, but also feel like most fans would know there'll be good matches and that stories are going to move forward on the PPVs since that's just their M.O. at this point, anyway. In terms of what Khan's perspective is, to me it depends whether he's going by "listen to the great reactions from the crowd" or whether he feels the stories he wants told are really delivering. The former is important but also kind of short term and potentially fleeting; the latter is ultimately more important in building longer-lasting gains, and I do think they pulled a good deal of that off last night. Not gonna guess much on that since I obviously don't know what's in the guy's head.
