I still have a feeling that WM 40 will get a release, so we'll see.

I still have a feeling that WM 40 will get a release, so we'll see. They should've just at least release DVD's for the big 4 each year. So I hope so too.

I'm in a glum mood tonight anyway, and this just makes it even glummer. Since I got into wrestling in the early 90s, Coliseum and home video releases, and later DVDs were vital, as I never was able to order a PPV or keep up with the product enough.
Just another sign that the times have passed me by.

"How do you learn to fall off a 20 foot ladder?"
Also, the line from Monday Night Wars that became a meme. "Fans were confused...but interested". I don't remember exactly how it went or what it was referring to.
I remember buying a Hulk Hogan DVD a couple of years after it came out, and watching the Hogan/Mean Gene training segment in full.
I was always fascinated with The Road Warriors when I first became a wrestling fan because of their look. The face paint and shoulder pads really made them stand out. The only matches I had seen were from the late 90s when they were in the jobbers to the stars role in WWF and that not so good match with RVD and Kane. I really enjoyed the 2005 DVD release and seeing them in their prime.

I feel bad for those in rural areas with no real streaming options. Imagine following along with WWE via physical media and the last one you get is Survivor Series.
"CM PUNK IS BACK?! I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE WHAT HAPPENS NEXT! I wonder who's finally gonna beat Roman."

Just bought WWE Beast in the East. I watched it on the network back in the day and thought it was great. Had a real special atmosphere and optics. Saw it for £4 brand new so snapped it up.
I can't say I'll be rebuying a lot of WWE releases on DVD, but definitely a few I have my eye on.

WWE home video/DVD died a little bit for me the day Silver Vision stopped being the UK distributor. It sounds ridiculous but I always associated it with the golden years of pro wrestling, and I sort of love that the distribution for this vast monolith was run from a shitty warehouse somewhere in Enfield.
I think my favourite WWE DVD bit was Mick Foley's Greatest Hits And Misses having the uncut version of his match with Vader from WCW Saturday Night where he bled hardway. It just felt like a really exciting, almost forbidden bit of footage and it was so exciting to see it after having read/heard about it. Obviously the Network has its "hidden gems" section or whatever, but I'm not sure it feels the same.

Silver Vision also gave us the brilliant Tagged Classics range, unique at the time because they existed outside of the WWF/WWE scratch logo copyright controversies and the 90s/2000s era PPVs could all be distributed with no alterations made to the themes or even nu metal soundtracks.

Going up in price now, I wanted survivor series 89/90 since 89 was my first vhs, 25 quid.
