I loved the Eddie vs. Claudio match, but the ending could've been better.
I didn't care for the Sammy vs. Jericho match, but that ending was phenomenal. I'm 100% on board with Sammy in the Don Callis family.
The Mox/Fenix match gets a pass with what I know now.
The main event was okay. But I didn't like the piledriver on cement spot. You should save that for when you want to put someone "on the shelf" for awhile, not a mid-match move, but that's a nitpick I suppose.
Lots of rough ones in this show, felt a little snakebit. Did Adam Cole hurt himself jumping from the ramp to the floor?!
Overall 7.
I was hyped as hell for this, and while I was entertained, I didn't love it. Really glad Eddie won though.

Not that sure about this Episode. It was good but for GrandSlam I expect the best. Main was great. Opener was good but think they could have done more within the match. Jericho/Sammy was rough in parts but I loved the post match. Mox stuff was a real downer. Maybe that's effecting my rating overall a lot but that really sucked. Went 7

Really easy 10, an all timer and one of my favourite ever Dynamites. Liked or loved every match, crowd was hot, loads of amazing spots and they mostly gave the crowd what they wanted aside from the Toni match and that one was forgivable because her change in character means her winning the title straight back wouldn't really work.
Seen some people complaining about the Piledriver on the 'concrete' but I'm pretty sure I heard Excalibur say it was plastic so not really something to get too worked up about.
Easily their best Grand Slam in terms of top to bottom for me, nothing as great as their very best Grand Slam match but everything delivered or over delivered from my point of view. Amazing moment for Eddie and an excellent match. Guevara/Jericho was very good even with a couple of whiffed spots and the turn afterwards was fantastic, Sammy will get nuclear heat with Callis. Rey/Mox was great even with the weird ending and Mox having his bell rung and a big shock, I've been wanting one of Rey or Penta to win singles gold for a while now so that made me happy even if it wasn't planned. Saraya/Toni went way beyond my expectations and had the crowd way more into it than you'd have expected, massive credit to Saraya for taking a lot of bumps people outright said she wouldn't too. And then I absolutely loved the main event, once again the crowd was so engaged, Max is an unbelievably good babyface which is some going when he's probably also the best heel in the business.
Oh and the Roddy segment was amazing, especially whatever the hell that noise was.
For the cluster of people voting 5 I really have no words.

8.5/10:
Eddie vs. Claudio was excellent.
Sucks what happened with Mox. I hope he’s ok. The Roddy bits were gold.
Jericho vs. Sammy was meh. But the post-match was fun.
Toni vs. Saraya was, fine. But besides a nice pop in Wembley, I haven’t seen anything to convince me that Saraya should be champion. She needs to lose the belt soon.
The ME waa very good. I hope Adam is ok as well though.

Eddie finishes the story, finally beats Claudio. At home.
10/10 for that alone.

Throughly enjoyable show. The only real negative was the Mox concussion. Also I could really do without people kicking out of pile-drivers on the exposed floor and DDT’s on a ramp.

Only a low rating for the guy I heard leaving the show with his buddies complaining that AEW "doesn't have any STAR power!" Jesus Christ, wrestling fans, man.
Slightly less of a low rating but a bit of a "dude, *please* just use your phone" to the guy behind me who was clearly not an AEW watcher but was there with friends and yelled out "yo, who the @#$% is that?!" any time someone appeared at ringside, e.g. Alex in the International title match or Ruby in the women's title match. Glad he at least marked out for the Hardys being there for Rampage, though.
Did feel like some spots were overdone a bit, especially piledrivers, but the work overall was strong and most of the stories told in them were good, too. The Mox situation sucks, no getting around that, but otherwise there was a lot of good. Did really want Joe to win the belt and see that add a wrinkle to the MJF/Cole story, but Max being true to being a scumbag while still getting cheered was pretty appropriate, as was Joe basically saying "ok, I respect that" afterwards.

Taz did put over that MJF was driven onto a plastic panel that covered the court and not exposed concrete, so I could just about buy the kick out given the time it took Joe to make the cover in the ring.

8/10, great show but I wasn't interested in Jericho/Guevara though or Toni/Saraya.
Aside from that it was a solid episode IMO.

I obviously only have what I saw from tv but that crowd annoyed me, and I'm usually not one to care about crowds. From the doofus in the Macho Man cosplay constantly running around to people just looking/sounding visibly uninterested. Like I said though, only how it appeared on tv. Anyway show was a 9. Some messy parts and Saraya retaining aside, great episode that had a big feeling to it.

I still don't understand why these people will spend their hard-earned money on tickets for something they couldn't really care less about.

Went with a 9. Everything was good expect for Jericho vs Sammy. Sure the finish was cool but goddamn that match was the shits and I just can't bring myself to care about anything Jericho does.
