5 out of 10, or average, IMHO. A big step down from recent episodes, sadly.

Solid 7, definitely a "take a breath, let the new angles get settled in" kind of show. Mostly enjoyable, a few things I didn't like. Wasn't fond of the chairshot, but Hobbs is a favorite and I'm excited for this new spot for him.

8/10:
Nick vs. Fenix, the ME Segment, and Toni Storm were all great.
I hope they’re teasing doing something more with Skye Blue finally. She’s been stuck in this role long enough, time for a change.

I think 6 is fair. This was definitely a hangover Dynamite after that wild WrestleDream

I think it's mostly because I'm finally feeling well for the first time in like a month (I feel like I didn't enjoy Grand Slam or Wrestledream as much as I would normally) but I really enjoyed this whole show. Like I'm not even taking a point off for Renee, which I usually do.
AEW is medicinal, clearly.

Really hard one to rate, they have these reset type shows after PPV's a fair bit, some will mark it down for the chair shot and the audio issues too I imagine, despite the segment being shown again and the chair apparently being gimmicked.
I'll say an 8 because I loved the final segment, the Fenix/Nick match was awesome, tag match was good, opening skit was funny, adored everything to do with Toni, liked all the MJF/Cole/Roddy/Bullet Club stuff and Wardlow being back as potentially a heel and Hobbs joining the Callis family were both interesting developments. That's quite a lot to enjoy on one show despite it feeling below its best so I can't go particularly low with the rating.
Honestly the Fenix match, the facial expressions by Toni during her close up and the final segment are worth quite a few points on their own, the highs on this show were *really* high.

Definitely some weirdness with the pacing on this one, some of which might be chalked up to not having everyone available to work for various reasons, but it led to some segments going a bit long and feeling kind of strange.
On the other hand, a lot of what they did in those segments was really, really good seed planting and setups: Hobbs joining Callis, Wardlow's return, Jay White and BCG making it clear that they hold MJF accountable, Toni fully snapping into "Timeless", Joe's Kingpin promo, "go @#$% yourself", and MJF clearly getting closer to the end of his rope given everything now on his plate and Cole letting his attention get torn in two...meantime, is it me or might it be significant that MJF said Caster was leaving notes in his locker, one week after saying someone broke into his locker to take the devil mask? Just a thought.
So yeah, I'll say this is a case of a hangover episode given that many people were missing and a lot of new directions had to be set up following the PPV, but the highs were very high, so a 7 feels fair.

I liked the opening bit where Adam C. showed up and the interaction between he and Jericho/Omega.
LOVED the opening match. The International Title felt back on track for the first time since OC lost it. Not a fan of Mox getting the rematch next week at all, but I'm glad that they had OC bring it up in a backstage promo (in front of Renee too!)
Samson, I mean, Wardlow came back. Meh.
Kyle Fletcher being Sammy's replacement telegraphed the shit outta that match.
Enjoyed the Roddy/Cole video take two.
Fast-forwarded The Acclaimed match. They are ice cold. And it's not their faults.
LOVED everything from Timeless Toni Storm.
I was digging the AmDrag/ZSJ video package and it felt like we were building towards something, but then it just stopped.
I didn't care for the BCG/MJF bit, but I'm glad we're getting Max vs. Switchblade at Full Gear. That match will be freaking amazing if they give it the time.
Powerhouse Hobbs in the Don Callis family? HELL YES.
Really liked the Samoa Joe promo.
The ending segment was decent. Audibly laughed at Christian's "Go f*** yourself".
This didn't feel like an anniversary show, and a couple matches straight up felt like Rampage match-ups given the importance of the episode. I didn't mind it, but your roster is large enough you could have offered a decently stacked card without blowing your wad for next week.
Oh well at least Kip Sabian actually got to wrestle on Dynamite.
If we did halves, 6.5, but as is it's a 6.

Acclaimed desperately need to drop the trios belt to Gunns and Juice and reclaim their tag belts. The wind has been out of their sails save for the occasional moment since appeasing FTR with them.

7 is generous considering they cut off the last segment and we got the Cole & Strong segment twice. Fenix v Nick Jackson was the best match but even that was played out. My interest in MJF v White is falling after Jay no sells last weeks beat down. Hobbs showing up was cool and I digged Wardlow’s destruction of Griff. Toni Storm is killing her new role. Stokely segment was cool and glad we got MJF/Caster interaction.

He didn't no sell it, he got beat up backstage and responded by attacking the dude he thought was responsible a full week later They didn't seriously injure him, that was never reported.

Jay White just took some kicks while on the floor and then got thrown into something right? Would make him look a bit weak if he was actually off TV for a while tbh, used to hate it when a guy would take some minor offence backstage that wouldn't cause any real damage in an actual match and then be out of action that night. The attack was presumably never meant to be particularly vicious either if the plan was just to antagonise BCG into retaliating hard against Max.

Both the live US broadcast and the live Fite broadcast didn't cut off and ended where it should have. The Cole/Strong segment was replayed because the TBS broadcast in the US had audio issues (not present on Fite) and TBS agreed to give the show a little more time to replay it as a makeup.
