I think Jim Johnston is kinda overrated

Taka Michinoku's theme (solo, not kaientai) is one of the best themes of the attitude era, especially once it gets more rocking. It still amuses me to this day that during a period where wrestlers either got a Jim Johnston track or a production theme they paid to license an actual piece of music from a legitimate Japanese band for Taka, of all people.

Taka Michinoku's theme (solo, not kaientai) is one of the best themes of the attitude era, especially once it gets more rocking. Bobby Roode's Glorious theme wasnt all that great, it was just the same thing on a constant loop. Even if it was a blatant rewrite of Real American, I still dig American Made. I actually prefer American Made

I think Jim Johnston is kinda overrated This is mine. He had a few rippers, but a lot of very, very ordinary stuff. Which to be fair, you'd expect of someone who has to write loads of music on demand. To expand on this, I would say that with a handful of exceptions, "real" music is overwhelmingly better entrance music than music written specifically for a wrestler, probably for this exact reason.

The original version of Batista's theme was so much better than when they added the lyrics.

That CFO$ didn't write good songs, but good loops. Listening to almost anyone's theme for more than 20 seconds becomes annoying.

The original version of Batista's theme was so much better than when they added the lyrics. Exactly the one I came here to say. The first theme gave him an aura, the second one was just generic nu-metal theme 2000s.

Undertaker's Survivor Series 1990 theme (before they added the bells) is the best one.
Demolition's early 1987 theme is as good as the version with lyrics we all love, and I wish someone would find a clean copy.
The Demolition "horror movie" theme wasn't that bad.
There's early '90s WCW "Basketball Highlights #2" themes that I think are some of the best ever.
Adam Bomb's heel music is a banger.
The redo of Bret Hart's music from 1994 is inferior to the original Hart Foundation music.
1998 Rock theme > the one we all know by now. (especially the version that debuted at SummerSlam '98 and was on WWE: The Music Vol 3)
Echo the love for the "really evil" instrumental My Time from 2000 (after the reveal of Triple H being behind Rikiski)
Kurt Angle's WWECW edit is also a good song.

While not better than his original song, the early 2010's Bret Hart theme was pretty epic in its own right.

I'm also an "American Made" over "Real American" guy. That might be because of when I started watching, though.

Owen Hart's NOD remix is his second best theme (after the 92-97 theme).

Dumb chorus aside, American Males is pretty darn catchy.
All-American Boys and Simply Ravishing are the two greatest themes ever.

Glorious isn't even the best Bobby Roode theme, with that honour going to TNA's orchestrated version of "Off the Chain." Funny enough, the rock version of same with vocals also happens to be the worst Roode theme.

I preferred Goldberg’s 2003 theme over his original WCW version. I was coming to say this. They're nearly identical but I do prefer that one a bit. I hate watching an old WCW match though and the WWE theme is dubbed in for his entrance.

"I'm All About Cool" is the greatest theme of all time. I'm going back through my Peacock/WWE Network rips and fixing the aspect ratio/putting cut content back in and I'm currently up to 2007 and I can't tell you how much I smile when I get to the Deuce and Domino segments because of their theme. It's so good.
