I didn’t watch but man, finding out they used footage from the Becky session where she was invited to the old Fight Factory venue that I was at for Lyra/Becky is super surreal to me.
Like, the thing I remember was because there were too many people to do pairs, I ended up doing grapple drills with Lyra and Katey Harvey and it just brought me back a bit.

I’m going to need my boy HBK to stop fooling around and actually start using Fallon regularly. They're perfect rivals for each other. I want to see Tiffany getting her hands dirty on a farm or working at Fallon's bar. the David Von Erich/Jimmy Garvin feud.... yes!!! This would totally work for me.

I really enjoyed the show. I thought all the "guest stars" worked and weren't overbearing. Even Taker, as old as he looked, worked for me. He basically played the old guy that still commands respect and I enjoyed it. I thought the punch he threw was perfect and Bron sold it well.

I'm sure it was brought up when it happened live, but Paul talking to Ava Raine.... is that what will get The Rock involved with the Bloodline again?

I'm sure it was brought up when it happened live, but Paul talking to Ava Raine.... is that what will get The Rock involved with the Bloodline again? I could be naïve, but I think it would have been weird if he was there and didn't at least try to pitch her on joining. Actually having her show up in the group would be throwing her in the deep end in a way that is probably really unfair. Feels more just like a nod than a major plot point. If they show that on Smackdown this week or next, then that's different.

Nxt last night sounded great but this is video was superbly done and because Becky actually went there and had the interaction with Lyra(or Aoife to be correct), it a brilliant story that I personally being Irish can get invested in very easily. The line “only one Irish woman can leave as nxt champion.”
Jesus that was great to see how far Irish wrestlers in wwe have come. For years we had none and in order we’ve had fitt Finley, sheamus,Finn Balor, JD McDonagh, and Becky and Lyra. It’s like buses.

Thoughts on the show:
Opening Cody segment was cool.
Cena Breakker segment also good. Thought Cena was going to obliterate him on the mic….then just asked for a hand shake. Ok.
Roxanne v Asuka was fine but felt a bit short.
Balor came to NXT just to get punched off the apron and then disappeared from sight.
Those LA Knight chants were seriously annoying omg.
Ava in the Bloodline is intriguing. Will it lead to The Rock returning?
The 6 man bar fight was very entertaining. Good that the English got the win over the evil Scots! Extra points for the pool cue to the face and Dart in the hand spots.
The Lyra Becky package was excellent.
The Jace U segment was brilliant. Loved it.
Breakker got made to look like a big star but also a bitch at the same time. Some achievement.
Taker looking old. Obviously.

It is actually so funny this show ended with a nearly 60-year-old man reminding these kids he’s the real badass.

Roxanne either needs a call up, or a big character change. It feels like she’s been treading water for months now.

They kept the usual NXT crazy to a minimum, but I still enjoyed the show.
I still marked for 'Taker. Sue me.

Roxanne either needs a call up, or a big character change. It feels like she’s been treading water for months now. It’s the side effect of using the now only women’s belt on the show as a tool to try and rehab the main roster division. Perez is not the only one kinda wheel-spinning, you could say this about most of that NXT division outside of maybe Jayne and Hail.

They could definitely use a Women’s IC Belt if something.
That division is stacked.

Hey, you know what? Shoutout to Vic for working a big show the day after his father died.

Just watched the show now. Fun watch and the veterans did a good job of complimenting the younger wrestlers like Melo and Bron. Wish there was more trademark NXT craziness though.
