Is anybody willing to actually elaborate about her supposedly being difficult to deal with? Because I've heard lots and lots about behavioral issues and attitude problems on her part, but never anything other than the vaguest of generalizations. Also, from what I've heard she makes enough money doing OnlyFans that she could take or leave pretty much anything short of WWE Main Eventer money. So it's probably worth more to her to stay in a company like Impact that isn't going to worry about OnlyFans than to jump to WWE or AEW who might make her stop. Well for one she would dunk on people for DMs they'd send her but turned out a lot of the DMs she instigated by flirting with random fans but only posting their responses. She also tends to have foot in mouth syndrome where she just constantly will say stupid things

Instigating flirting with random fans? We got any evidence for that?

Jordynne is my favourite active female wrestler. A few months ago, I was rooting for her to sign with AEW. But I'd rather her sign somewhere that actually puts women on TV? AEW does actually put women on TV, tired of this being in any thread about girls. Like at this point we get it. But since Grace re-signed, this doesn't even matter, but it's kind of telling she was a free agent for what felt like quite a bit, and no one seemed to be jumping at her. I don't know extensively about any issues with her or if that'd have been in play, but that's kind of interesting cause I didn't think she was gonna go back to Impact. Given a lot of people in this thread don't have kind words for her I guess there's some smoke to that fire though.

Didn't Gresham and Khan make up in some way? If so, it certainly seems more plausible than it would have before that. I do not think she'd fit the same niche as Jade, but I do think she would bring something on her own merits if they went that route. I think Gresham has admitted that he got too hot and wasn't thinking, not entirely sure if he has apologised but he is open about how he f***ed up with his reaction.

I was being flippant for comic effect because it takes longer to say 'puts more than one women's match on TV per week and treats them remotely as equals'. Wasn't trying to start a debate If you're making enough money elsewhere like Jordynne is, I dunno why you would ever leave Impact, a promotion that books more than one women's feud per show and where you could even end up being world heavyweight champion Your problem is with Tony Khan, not with me And I think the fact that Jordynne is getting a reputation as difficult to work with suggests that she makes these points to promoters even more often than I make them on here

I don't have a problem with Tony Khan, either, I think the women's stuff in AEW has gotten way better this year, with room for further improvement. And idk man, Grace not going to WWE where you can't use the AEW excuses seems pretty wild to me, granted she couldn't become a men's world champion but I'm shocked she didn't even go to the PC for a look or a tryout in her time away from Impact, or didn't go elsewhere either. And deflecting potential issues she has with "Well she probably just suggested these things to promoters and they hate her for it" is not the vibe I'm picking up from this thread, but she's your favorite women's wrestler and I don't blame you for defending her if that's the case.

Yeah actually you make a good point, we go round in circles here so let's not go round another one and focus on Jordynne specifically. The thing is, it's tricky to talk about that relating to Jordynne - because she is pretty vocal about a lot of the same stuff I am as far as promoters pushing women. And WWE's history with how they treat women offscreen - even though they do a lot more for women on TV now than they used to - is pretty bad. That's not even me saying whether I agree with that, just that there's a lot of bad shit that comes out about that, even just as recently as Vince McMahon's legal troubles. Not every indie wrestler is dreaming of getting to WWE eventually, so the fact that she didn't even try to suggests to me that she has no interest. And admittedly, I am speculating about why people would say she is hard to work with, but that's because I wrote my reply on the bus to work hahahaha. What I meant was, it is a common occurrence for women to be called bossy or difficult to work with when what they are actually seeking is respect equal to that of their male colleagues, and given that Jordynne talks about that kind of thing publicly (or used to, I've not seen her say much of it for a while) it wouldn't surprise me if that's what it turned out to mean. I am reminded of in the Dark Side of the Ring episode about Sunny, to use admittedly a terrible example, where multiple people said Sunny had a terrible attitude and Mick Foley said basically that he never saw any ego from her at the time and that he just got the impression she was a woman, rather than a man, who had opinions about shit, and people did not like that very much. I clowned on Gresham about the ridiculous way he walked out of AEW at the time myself too - that PWI shit was ludicrous, and I roll my eyes hard at any guy who claims to retire as a result of an argument with a promoter when it is blatantly obvious bullshit, but I don't get the sense Jordynne has a record of this kind of thing. As someone else said earlier in the thread, all I ever see is people saying she has a bad attitude and then nothing to cite to actually back this up. I've never seen another wrestler, or a promoter, say that about her, just fans.

Why does every thread about AEW that has a single negative comment turn into this same thing? Makes this forum impossible to enjoy.

Ever since the Tessa Blanchard reign unceremoniously ended, there's been very little intergender wrestling in Impact. The Digital Media Championship is unisex, but is mostly feuded over by just men lately.

I got second hand embarrassment just seeing it.

I don't know about professionally, but she seems very willing to engage in all sorts of petty bullshit on Twitter, a lot of which doesn't even involve her. Also I think anyone bringing her in has to consider that the OF money likely makes it so she can say "no" to anything she's asked to do without being too concerned about how that'll affect her long term. Certainly not a bad thing for her, but if you're a TK who already has a huge roster and needs them to behave themselves, it's a potential headache.

I've got a sort of fondness for Gresham and Jordynne. Like, he absolutely takes himself too seriously, and she sometimes comes off like she's only got a teaspoon more impulse control and wisdom than Joey Janela, but I still kind of like them and think they have a tendency to get treated harshly, even if they bring some of that on themselves.
That said, I feel like she'd likely do alright in AEW, but she isn't the first person I'd want to sign if it was my call. I'd sooner try to go with a smaller name but with some potential to build them up themselves like a Heidi Howitzer, but I am always going to throw Heidi out there as someone who deserves more opportunities.
