9/10. Amazing episode of Dynamite with 2 big title switches (love both results as well), and Copeland's debut, which I thought was good. Swerve/Danielson was match of the night. Hangman/Jay went too long considering it went right into another long MJF/Jay promo, as did Jericho/Hobbs- that should've been more of a massacre though I loved how Hobbs won. Great crowd too. Also considering Eddie/Suzuki in my rating which was lots of fun
Anyway, loved it.
Edit- why are so many people voting 1?

Because we have grown-ass people on this board who like to give troll responses to silly rating threads, diving immediately for 1's or 10's depending on which thread they're in. Went 9; not everything was pitch perfect, but so much did happen, we got a ton of really good wrestling, and there's a lot to look forward to between now and Full Gear.

I went 10. Loved it from start to finish, started hot with a fantastic match, Hobbs squashing Jericho was a great booking decision, OC winning his belt back in a really good (if a little short) match was fantastic, Wardlow was Wardlow and I'm interested what they do with him, Hangman and Jay was fantastic and they protected Hangman well in defeat, loved the women's match and Shida winning, Saraya has over delivered a lot in the ring lately for me, loved seeing Toni with her shoes, main event again exceeded my expectations, thought Copeland looked great in there and the ending was wild, always love a chaotic ending with loads of storylines overlapping.
The Juice thing definitely felt wrong, he hits people with quarters anyway so I guess they thought it would be ok, but with the timing they shouldn't have done it.

An 8 for the show itself (banger opener, Saraya isn't champion anymore, Shida is, Hobbs beating Jericho, and Toni Storm all being highlights) and an extra point for Hangman's man bun during the opener.

Solid 9. Copeland/Lucha was kinda plodding at times, otherwise amazing show.

Gave it a 10.
Just a fantastic show overall.
Jericho getting his ass whooped, Shida winning the belt, Christian Cage being Christian Cage, Swerve and Danielson having a banger.
Great shit overall

Speaking of ratings, seems Tony hasn’t slowed down today with his tweeting about the “war,” making comments about the Cagematch ratings and saying Shawn lost Booker of the year with the show he put on last night. Someone should take his phone away from him for 24 hours

I was pretty much fine with the shot at Vince and the other stuff he was tweeting last night, but these are just a bad look.

Say that was probably 2nd best Dynamite of year behind the LA show start of year.
Thought the main event was a bit dull, and stopped it being a 10. Pretty generic heel slowly beating on babyface before the inevitable comeback win. Dare I say it was a very WWE house style match. But the crowd were into it and the post match was fun.
Swerve/Danielson was superb. Add it to list of great Danielson matches this year, wrestler of the year is a lock for me.
Jericho getting squashed was interesting. Is this finally the moment Hobbs ascends to the next level.
I personally didn't really think about the events in Israel during Juice's promo. I get it though. It's a fine line. I'm personally ok with the angle but 100% get it if people aren't or think the timing of it was bad optics.
I posted in actual show thread but I think they might have lucked into a pretty big rematch here with OC/Mox. Especially if OC gets the win.

Tony is overly emotional and just a fan at heart, I always give him a bit of pass on that kind of thing as it's refreshing to see someone just expressing how he feels, but yeah he doesn't need to be interacting with half the people he is or getting worked up about things like Cagematch ratings especially since NXT haven't had another show highly rated like that all year, and barely a weekly show rated like that ever, as far as I can tell. Take it as a compliment that they had to book probably their strongest ever weekly show to get a marginally better rating on that site than AEW's 8th or 9th (at a quick glance I might be missing some) highest rated Dynamite of the year.
He's probably not wrong with the Shawn thing either way, even if he shouldn't care as much as he does. I don't really think it's particularly great booking having a bunch of names who won't be there next week, the week after, or the week after that, some of them will probably literally never be there again, with no real standout matches and a women's match shorter than Saraya's two title defences. It's the sort of booking people shit on WWE for doing for years but loved it last night, same when the Rock came back and got secured crazy high review scores for what looked otherwise to be a pretty bog standard episode. I'm sure he finds it very frustrating. WWE are clearly doing a lot of things better than they have in a long time but as I mentioned last night it always feels like they have a lower bar. Maybe that's not in Michaels hands though, quite possible a lot of it was done over his head.

Tony is half-fanboy, half e-carny with this stuff lol. Like he's in his feelings, but there's a method to his madness.

Tony is half-fanboy, half e-carny with this stuff lol. Like he's in his feelings, but there's a method to his madness. It made sense in the lead up to the show last night as an advertising tool to get engagement and increase ratings potentially but the ones today aren’t pushing a particular show or anything so it’s a little different look than yesterday.
