Ok, So what about all those creatures on the planet at the end of Attack of the Clones? They don’t bleed, they’re not human! It’s almost as if Star Wars is massively inconsistent with the science! Or, different creatures from different planets have different biologies, some of which will cauterize, some of which will not. Surviving getting stabbed in the stomach with a lightsaber?

Where did Peter Parker get his Spider-Man suit from in the first movie?
I guess he could have made it himself. I'm sure Aunt May had a sewing machine.

This isn't that small of an inconsistency... but I hate how hyperspace travel in the Disney Sequel Star Wars Trilogy is now "we flew across the galaxy in 3 seconds". It breaks the universe. Instead of prepping for journeys with supplies and planning Disney treats travel like "YOLO see you in 5 seconds bro" If the sequel trilogy wasn't already a lost cause for me by that point, it certainly would have lost me at "hyperspace skipping"

The biggest inconsistency in Deep Impact is why any movie studio would hire Tea Leoni. (I like Tea Leoni.) I retract my statement. I guess she did at least get killed by a 1000 foot tall tsunami.

One example is in Deep Impact. When the Biederman meteor strikes it is instantly succeeded by a massive shock wave, yet when we see the characters on the beach they are standing waiting for the approaching tidal wave. Of course, I am no scientist so it might be a plausible scenario. I actually watched this for the first time last weekend. LOL

If there's only one thing Star Wars is consistent in it's how inconsistent it is with the rules of hyperspace travel. That's not a new thing.

Continuing with Star Wars, in every movie and episode of TV every Imperial is terrified of Darth Vader and treat him with the respect one would expect to give the man who answers only to the Emperor.
In A New Hope almost every Imperial talks to him as if he's their subordinate. Even the commander leading the boarding party in the opening act gets lippy with him in a way nobody else would dare do in the rest of the franchise.
