Saved By the Bell: The New Class lasted SEVEN seasons!
When it starts they're all doing high school shit, and then by the last season they enlist in the police academy. For as much of a pop culture touchstone as Saved By the Bell classic it, showing a pic of the new class cast will have most people going "who are any of these people?"

Community and Brooklyn 99 Not because they weren't good. Just so many network changes In my opinion with Community the quality kept declining after season 3. 4 is bad, 5 is uneventful after Troy leaves and 6 has some good new characters the plots weren't great. Surprised it even got a 6th series to be honest. I'll even say 3 is a big dropoff from 2 when you can tell Dan Harman gets waaay up his own ass for high concept shit that doesn't really work. Like, that Dreamatorium shit, and Abed just getting too weird.

Looking back on the episode list there were a lot more episodes i liked than disliked but i get that wasn't for everybody. It's an interesting show looking back on it how it changed season to season. Season 4 just fell off the cliff after Harmon got fired and even with him back in season 5 losing Donald Glover was what sealed it for me.

I'm a celebrity has somehow been going for over 20 years when animal cruelty for entertainment shouldn't even be legal. I'll never understand how it gets a pass.

Its awful and its unfortunately very popular. Animals deserve so much better in this world and rubbish like this show just cheese me off to no end. Baywatch lasted a good 8 or 9 seasons which surprised me. I thought the first season or two were actually pretty decent but after that point it became what it did with some of the worst acting iv ever seen on tv. The last season is so bad but then people never watched it for the story or acting really.

Had to look it up but Mrs Browns Boys has 5 series so just qualifies. How it ever made it past one episode I don’t know. It also somehow got a spin off variety show which lasted 4 seasons and a movie. I would have to be paid a lot of money to watch all that!

There's a ton of shows that almost no one talks about anymore that were around for a long time; Gimme a Break! - 6 seasons Ben Casey - 5 seasons Mannix - 8 seasons Quincy ME - 8 seasons A Different World - 6 seasons Lou Grant - 5 seasons Marcus Welby MD - 7 seasons Coach - 9 seasons The Hogan Family - 6 seasons Simon and Simon - 8 seasons The Life of Riley - 6 seasons The Hogan Family is a great one for this thread. It completed the hat trick of changing names, the main star, and even the network. It debuted on NBC under the name Valerie as it was intended as a vehicle for its star Valerie Harper. Then it changed its name to Valerie's Family: The Hogans until Valerie Harper left after only two seasons. Then it finally became The Hogans, but NBC cancelled it after 5 seasons since they had too many other strong shows in the pipeline. CBS picked it up for a season and then it finally died. Aside from this thread the most I’ve thought about this show for years is when Jason Bateman talked about it in a Howard Stern interview.

My problem with Community was when the characters began to flanderize and a few of them became unlikeable jerks. Also, Chang jumped the shark early on and his constant inclusion was to the detriment of the show.

Silk Stalkings lasted 8 seasons with the two leads being replaced midway thru the show's run.

90210 (sort of reboot) lasted 5 seasons. I watched it for like 2 seasons because I'm a huge fan of the original series and I just couldn't take it anymore. I can't believe it actually went 5.

Crazy Ex Girlfriend.
A show I started with one significant other than finished with another ha. I actually liked it but can’t believe it got 4 seasons.
I actually just read that it’s the lowest rated show to get picked up for a new season. Not sure how accurate that is, but good for this thread.

how did 2 Broke Girls get 6 seasons? It drew good ratings. Was a show I never watched, then she was watching it and yea it is LCD entertainment. But that is what the masses want. Something they aint gotta think about. Why else is so much bland crap popular.

There’s a show called Insight that started in 1960 and lasted 23 years and 250 episodes! It was a religious-themed anthology show produced by a Catholic production company that aired in syndication. I only know of it from looking up actors’ filmographies on IMDB. Basically every television actor in Hollywood from that era guest starred on it.
