It's raining non-stop in Western Germany for what feels like a month, so a christmas flood it's going to be.

No, but I live in Las Vegas, where any sort of snow is very rare, much less with enough volume to accumulate.

No. I live in northern Ontario. If people don't believe climate change is real they can f*** right off. I’m just outside Brandon, Manitoba. This is the mildest winter we’ve had in years, our last few have been f***ing brutal here. Snow from October til May and lots of stretches of -30 or lower. This winter has been a godsend, we needed a break. I don’t know if I could’ve handled another 6 month, shut in winter this year EDIT: Right now I’ve got give or take an inch of snow most of my yard, a few bare grass patches and it’s -2C at 0200.

Nope, the closest we're going to come is some serious fog. Beyond that, it's in the 50s with rain.

Nope apparently will be raining here in the U.K. on Christmas. We’ve had white christmases here before but not where I live.

There's gonna be less chance of a visible sun let alone snow where I live in the UK.
We had snow at the start of the month though

I'm in the UK and though it's very windy it's unseasonably warm where I am. Any snow I do get tends to be January or February.

It's summer here and also never snows, so unless I can get a big discount on cocaine, Christmas will remain red and green.

I love south of Boston. When I was a kid I swear Christmas was always super cold and there was more often than not residual snow from earlier in the month at least.
We’ve had two massive rainstorms at about 65 degrees this December. I don’t know the last time iwe had snow for Christmas but we’ve had two halloweens with snow in the past decade

There must be 4 feet of snow on my lawn and the temperature has me shivering. No snow failing today thankfully, we have enough.

from the north west of England, we tend to get pre-thawed snow for Christmas most years and this year doesn't look to be any different.

This is the warmest Christmas I can remember since 97 or 98. I remember one in the late 90’s where there was less snow then I have now, and it was stupidly warm out.

Just under 50 here in Detroit. Downright balmy with a moderate fog. I was just outside in a t-shirt.
I know "crazy weather we're having" is practically stock small talk, but what crazy f***ing weather we're having!

In Buffalo I’d much prefer it be freezing already and we had a white Christmas. The longer it stays warm the less total snow we might get that winter…but the more violent the storms are. If the lake doesn’t freeze we get some massive snowfall days. If it does it’s just like…a pretty covering and cold all winter. Those don’t happen as much anymore. Last winter we managed to have a once in a lifetime snowfall day and a once in a lifetime blizzard in the same season. Stuff that hadn’t happened dating back decades or half a century….both hitting within weeks. A couple years ago there was barely any snow at all the whole winter.
You never know what you’re going to get when it stays this warm deep into December. But there’s a good chance it isn’t good in the long run.
