Dare>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>The Touch One thing that will help the movie is the mass amount of advertising. Pirates' less than expected opening could have to do with the lack of advertising it's had. There are so many freaking tie-ins with TF that it's starting to get ridiculous. I wouldn't say that for PIRATES 3. I would say that the movie's nearly 3 hour running time didn't help it. But its true. Maybe Disney figured that since DEAD MAN'S CHEST made a billion bucks last summer, and was super over-advertized they figured....why spend money on a movie that'll kill financially? Yeah, the TF tie-ins are annoying already...and we have what, 2 months to go? There's random car commercials, Mountain Dew, the NBA. People WILL be aware of this movie, whether they like it or not. With Pirates, the running time might have done some, but half the time I wasn't even sure when it was actually coming out. Although that may have to do with my trouble remembering the exact date every now and then.

Seriously, who the heck is Scorponok? In this movie, a robotic scorpion that serves as a minion to Blackout, the Decepticon helicopter. In the original show and comic, a giant headmaster that turned into a robot, scorpion, and battle station. SPEAKING OF BATTLE STATIONS....Metroplex rules!!!

I'm sure the film will do fine at the cinema, enough nostalgic parents will go see it and at the end of the day it's a film about giant robots (This is what transformers are) which kids love.
I really can't stand the fact that running time effects people's opinon's of films. Some of the greatest films ever have been 2 and half hours or more in length. The Good, The Bad & The Ugly, Lord of the rings, Ben-Hur, Titanic (A lot of people went to see it for some reason) etc ...
Men in Black felt like a waste to me as a film as it was over so quickly.

That was the one Transformer I wanted more than anything else. I mean, he was an entire city that transformed into a robot. How cool is that?

Michael Bay killed my father and raped my mother. And that was BEFORE it was announced he was attached to this film... He is going to go on to produce the remake of the torture, rape, and murder of your family, but using younger, hipper actors in place of them.
