An 8.
I didn't hate the ending like everyone else but what I did hate was The Callis and Jericho shit. I can't believe this is still going. I don't care about Callis anymore and Jericho needs to take a break. Awful stuff.
I quite enjoyed the rest of the show

I quite enjoyed the rest of the show Jericho's in my bottom 5 right now, which pains me to say because he's an all time favorite.

Really good with killer tournament matches, up until the flat finish to the show. If they had to keep the Devil a secret for another show, then they should've at least revealed the two henchmen who won the belts.

Going with an 8. Great show until the end, though I am amused at the idea of after like 15 years, Joe sided with the Ninjas. He only did business with them. That's all.

What a weird show. Had some really good highs and some really bad lows.
Think they got the order wrong. This MJF/Joe stuff should not have closed. I get it's main but stick this at start of the show. Then close with Danielson/Eddie and the awesome Eddie/Mox promo as show closes. Would have come away feeling much more positive

Knew this one would be a lot more polarising as they searched for balance with having less C2 matches and it being a go home show but I'd go like high 8, low 9. I had no issue at all with the Callis Family stuff though was looking forward to a Sammy heel run and the ending was a bit rubbish, but I loved just about everything else. Three Way and Danielson/Kingston were both terrific, as was the post match promo between Eddie & Mox, Stat/Skye was really good, the avalanche Code Blue was amazing and the result was a genuine shock, Stat screaming "she's gonna eat you!" when Abadon came out was a real highlight too. Just had a lot of fun watching it and it felt like it had a bit of everything.
I don't think the Devil stuff should have closed the show though really, the C2 has been the best thing they've been doing, just end with that, because the Devil stuff was never likely to have a satisfying ending. They weren't going to do the big reveal and I'm assuming now they can't even reveal who the henchmen are because it would give away too much about who the main guy behind the mask is. I am quite interested to see where it goes with the fact they actually won the titles though, whether that's a sign Max will disappear for a bit, come back when Cole is closer to a recovery for example, and whether actually losing his and Cole's titles makes The Devil's group more likely to be somebody associated with Cole.
Overall the good massively outweighed the bad for me.
Edit: Forgot Harley with the knife, that got a big laugh from me. Interesting they're adding her to the mix, they've got a lot going on with the women right now with Harley/Ruby/Saraya, the whole Stokely/Stat thing with Willow in the background, Skye joining Julia and getting the biggest win of her career so far, Thunder Rosa and Riho both being back, Abadon getting a run on screen outside Halloween, Mariah about to make her in ring debut and Timeless Toni still getting screen time on just about every show. Feels like the strongest position the women have been in for a long time, definitely in the time I've been watching

6/10, it was decent.
I liked the 3-way but wanted Swerve or Jay to win as I don't really care for the finals with Mox vs. Kingston.
I didn't like the ending with the Ninjas/Devils winning the belts but at least it gets it off MJF.

Sammy taking career advice from Big Show and turning again was dumb. Main event was dumber. Wasting Takeshita is more annoying by the week.
But the tournament matches were great and everything else was OK. Kinda liked prop week backstage.
7/10

Very best of AEW: Great wrestling, Mox and Eddie, actually having numerous women's storylines going on at once, and the very Worst of AEW: Sammy and Jericho again, the Masked Devil stuff.

Wasn't really into the show, this week, so 6/10. I don't know, we've reached a stage in the CC where I don't really care about the results/the guys involved (it's either Kingston back as champ, or even more Mox, whom I'm already burned out on), the whole Devil thing is just fizzling out big time, the Sammy stuff is meh, and I don't really get Mariah May (ie I haven't watched her work in Japan, so the way AEW has been using her just does nothing for me)...
