somehow simultaneously exploded into confetti out of existence Between the Rock and Jinder Mahal, I've actually seen this happen to one of these men. In the main event at Wrestlemania 29. And again, that doesn't mean the best choice is "Dude whose title reign caused Smackdown to lose ratings and cancel a date of the tour he was supposed to be the figurehead for". He'd literally be the only choice in the scenario I mentioned.

They tried putting Jinder in a prominent position in that Drew feud a few years back and that flopped too. People simply don’t care about this dude, it took a stupid tweet from Tony Khan for this match to get any traction here.

Absolutely. I'd rather Jinder be champion and in main events than The Rock. I mean, in a scenario where the whole roster somehow simultaneously exploded into confetti out of existence and those two were your only options, sure. Even in the current situation with a full roster a I'm not against the idea of another Jinder world title run. I survived JBL's title run, I can survive anything.

Not sure how Jinder was ahead, looking at the ratings for 2016 and 2017 (which sadly misses quite a bit of Jinders reign) and taking the averages for the time Styles and Mahal held the title, AJ comes out ahead of Jinder with his average of 1.75 as opposed to 1.65

2017 SD was awful with or without Jinder as champ, let's just pretend that whole year never happened.

I just want to say I like Jinder and I feel bad for how he's treated.

There is not a world in the multiverse where Jinder, a guy who hasn’t had a single match since December 2022, winning the title tonight is a good idea. Not even the one where Priest cashes in on him afterwards. What are we doing here? Now, now, hear me out. In the idea's defense It's Seth's consolation trinket belt, who cares? ;-) I don’t think he should win tonight, but atleast Jinder is a former world champ. We had several former MITB holders in losing streaks before they won a world title So’s Bob Backlund but I’m endorsing him to win because it’d make things more “exciting” or whatever. Oh man, forget Jinder, let's do this. Bring Bob back. I can only assume he's still an absolute beast

Because, again, we can do better for the bronze medal belt. EDIT: I don't even hate Jinder but, like, if you want an over midcarder who has shown to be able to do bigger, longer matches against talented opposition to beat Seth Rollins, Chad Gable's right there for example.

Oh yeah, literally 80-90% of the roster is a better qualified than Jinder (or as I said earlier in the thread, Jinder is fine if you actually, pushed him in any way to build him here), I just like to dunk on Seth's participation trophy belt at every opportunity
