Sitting around watching wrestling with my cat helped me get through the pandemic. Wrestling being deemed essential may have been ridiculous but it was a very welcome bit of normality. Well as normal as unleashing hounds on drone can ever be anyway.

I've had a rough few years, but getting back into British wrestling post pandemic has made me feel a lot better about it. I've also met a lot of friends through that, including FinalGwen

I don't know if I'd call it therapy, but I moved a lot between 6th and 12th grade, went to 6 different schools in 6 years, and wrestling was the one constant in my life. I didn't make new friends very easily, but those wrestlers I grew up with were always there. People sometimes marvel at how well I remember stuff from back then, and it's largely because I remember where I was and the circumstances in my life relative to what was going on in wrestling at the time.

Back in my younger days I used to watch wrestling to cheer myself up due to the bullying I used to get in school. Same here. I got bullied terribly for being much taller and heavier than the other kids in elementary and middle school. I kind of looked like an adult playing with kids, but they knew I wouldn’t hurt a fly so they thought it made them look tough. I wish I could have told some of the guys like Andre, Earthquake, Bam Bam, and Boss Man that they gave me someone to root for.
