The way Rock was talking, I’m definitely sensing that they’re playing the long game with Rock-Roman and that it will be a battle for Head of the Table that happens after Roman loses to Cody at Wrestlemania.
Whether they’re building it for next year’s Mania, one of the other stadium shows later in the year or even for the premiere of Raw on Netflix, we’ll see. But I’m sensing it’s not for this April.

Yeah, I actually feel way more confident about Cody/Roman after watching how hard he was waffling on that question.

Probably gonna be a Rock vs. Cena scenario where Rock is still at Mania, but contributes to Roman losing to Cody to set up their match.

Come through, clears the ring, rock bottoms Roman and then Cody goes onto win. Easiest booking ever.

Yeah, I actually feel way more confident about Cody/Roman after watching how hard he was waffling on that question. If you've been paying attention to Cody in recent weeks it's obvious Cody-Roman is happening at Mania. He said in an interview Rock is a legend but I'm not flinching. He posted a pic of the Rocky statue (Mania obviously in Philly and Rocky lost in Rocky 1 then won in Rocky 2). He cut an off-air promo at Smackdown implying he's still the guy for the spot. They had him and Punk last night slyly reference a bigger star could come and take your spot. The new videogame out weeks before Mania is all about Cody finishing his story and he said yesterday if I don't do it this year then don't even put me in the game next year. If WWE knew Roman-Cody wasn't the plan surely they'd tell him not to bring attention to this stuff so much. They wouldn't want you so hyped for Roman-Cody. Not right now anyway. Now technically Roman-Cody and Roman-Rock could both happen but the people pushing the idea that only Roman-Rock will happen and Cody would be pushed aside I think have been living in a bit of a fantasy land.

Good thing they just signed that big Netflix deal so they can afford to settle the incoming lawsuit from the REAL Rock, Don Muraco.

Dwayne's a Bret Hart guy. He didn't particularly like HBK. HHH is Rock's nemesis.
All key players are aligned for Montreal Screwjob 2, with Rock in the Vince McMahon role.

It’s possible they save it for WM 41 but I think it’s 100% happening at a WM if it does happen. Having it at another PLE doesn’t seem right. I think it would be smarter to do it now given Rock’s age but it would definitely undercut Cody’s story so they might hold off.

I would've been very excited about this before the Black Adam fiasco.

Seeing him say he wanted to be a footballer because his Dad 'only' made 120k a year in the 80s and it was a 'way out'. I don't know if he's really that dense or if he's just so far removed from the real world he thinks that was poverty.

If guys like him and Dwayne Johnson can make it, anyone can. #AmericanDream

WWE should start calling him Rocky Maivia again to avoid paying royalties. (and to fulfill my dream of giving everyone their last names back) For some reason, using wrestler names they don't own doesn't apply to WWE using their footage archive. Guys like Raven and Shane Douglas own their wrestling names and lots of guys wrestled under their real names, yet WWE can use their names on WWE Network without having to get permission.

Rock should hire Stone Cold for CEO for a day.
Just to fulfill the prophacey from 1999 when Austin won the job from McMahon.
