If they have Okada and Mercedes, I think you bring out Okada first since that will tell fans they're getting both in one night.

The amount of people on Facebook laughing about how “Tony Khan only announced they’re coming to Boston?” or “It’s just Dynamite with a different name?” is baffling to me. I guess they missed the big "BO$$TON" in the back that makes it painfully obvious who's making their debut? That’s apparently “fake.”

If they have Mark Wahlberg show up and somebody beats his ass, I will stay loyal to AEW forever. Just saying Tony. Ball is in your court.

Okada & Mone did spend some time in the ring together in Japan to close out the shows.
Could there be some strange dynamic money faction coming into AEW?
Okada Mone _____?
Managed by Shane McMahon?

So, if they follow the Punk format (which they seem to be doing) she opens the show, gives a speech and then they reveal or heavily hint as to her first opponent. Who do they pick?
Assuming they keep her away from both titles plus RoH title for a few months I’d think the likely candidates are Brit Baker if recovered from injury, Thunder Rosa, Hikaru Shida or Riho. Everyone else appears to be in a storyline or would be underwhelming. Mercedes and Saraya have history and I believe are friends so would be up for it but the latter would need a bit of building up and her best in ring days are behind her.

Depends, if Okada's on the same show he might do this, maybe not so much a long promo but they immediately establish his first big opponent. One of the two is opening the show, though, I have to imagine

If JR isn't on commentary saying something like, "Big business is about to pick up," I don't know what the point is.

The amount of people on Facebook laughing about how “Tony Khan only announced they’re coming to Boston?” or “It’s just Dynamite with a different name?” is baffling to me. People just look for any reason to talk shit. No I get it. Why make a big announcement to imply someone is going to be there without actually saying it? It’s like those three weeks where he showed up to make a new announcement for Collision. First was it existing, then for the dates, then oh yeah the first one is in Chicago.

It’s like those three weeks where he showed up to make a new announcement for Collision. First was it existing, then for the dates, then oh yeah the first one is in Chicago. Well because announcing her like that would be an incredibly shit way to debut someone. You want her first appearance to be a big deal and they're giving her a big show to debut on, and if you're doing that why would you not announce the show on TV where more people can see it? My ideal scenario would have been a surprise debut but with all the talk in the dirt sheets it was never really going to be a surprise. You can "get it" with those type of comments, sure, but those people are likely being deliberately obtuse, the same type of people who were going "hurr durr I don't understand this Continental Classic, it's too complicated". The announcement was what everyone thought it would be, and they effectively announced her with the BO$$TON thing, it's the same thing they did with Punk, that worked out fine...well it didn't but you know what I mean, the debut itself very much worked. It's difficult to take someone seriously if they're making out it was a big letdown, I legit don't know what they'd have been expecting instead.
