Your timing was quite a bit off though <_< To be fair, within 5 and a half years he had a featured role in a main event story that should have lead to more with anything resembling competent booking

Make it snappy…while we’re young. I was in my twenties then. I am 40 this year.

So my consumption of wrestling is basically limited to whatever I read on here as I have other things that take up a lot of my time, but I did want to know: Did WWE pivot from Rock/Roman to Cody/Roman because of fan backlash or is it generally agreed that Rock coming in and doing all that was part of the plan all along? Probably fan backlash caused them to pivot. They almost certainly were going to do Rock vs Reigns, the "Just not at Wrestlemania" line from Cody being the biggest tell. Keeping that in mind: they really have no choice but to give Cody the win at Wrestlemania now. You risk pissing off the people who made so much noise about Rock stealing Cody’s spot if Roman retains yet again.

Any sane person would make him the guy. Absolutely. I'm not really a Cody Rhodes fan, but the dude is absolutely there. They should (... should) have him dethrone Roman at Wrestlemania and make it official.
