Bhanu seems like a sweet guy but he also seems genuinely unstable, I’m slightly worried he’s gonna hurt himself or someone else.

Bhanu's story is that he is the nephew of Russell Hantz.

Even if I was in Bahnu's position, I'd still want them to vote. I feel like seeing your name on Parchment is part of the experience.

This has been an entertaining episode, I must say. This episode was AWESOME. Bhanu got arguably the same problem Russel Hantz had on his final season with Boston Rob. If Rob and Russ had switched tribes, TELL ME Russel wouldn't have won with that cakewalk tribe that carried Boston Rob to the end of the game (we've already seen how smart players act around Russel v Rob and Rob got decimated in 'Heroes v Villains' ijs) but instead of being the Final Boss Russel Hantz Villain he had a Ultimate Babyface gimmick... that he didn't reveal to anybody until he was doomed to be eliminated. He didn't tell his tribe this from Day 1, from what I'm gathering. And for good reason-- it's a HELL of a babyface origin story. He would get my vote to win $1M, hands down. His entire tribe felt guilty about voting him out, and TRIED TO HELP HIM even despite being inarguably the worst strategic player in the history of the game for the first 9 days only. Because he's an Ultimate Babyface that you want to see win in spite of adversity. He was willing all the bad stuff to happen to him, just so he and the power of God itself could overcome it, and I even knew he wouldn't find any idols despite him desperately searching for one in the Nth Hour (Tiff has it) I halfway was hoping he'd find SOMETHING like a wild new Hidden Advantage that gives you your vote/Shot In The Dark back after the tribe loses the immunity challenge. I wanted Bhanu's boyhood dream to become a reality-- and the fact that he emphatically changes the goal of his Survivor run as winning "1 Million Hearts" rather than "1 Million Dollars" simultaneously made him worthy of winning Sole Survivor and incapable of winning it. TL;DR Good episode

Bhanu is probably a lovely guy, but if I had to deal with one more episode of him, I’d chuck my TV off my balcony.

If Survivor goes back to an hour for season 47, they're gonna cut the opening credits and I'm gonna be sad.

I like it for nostalgia and it’s easier to learn everyone’s names, but I willing to sacrifice it, for a return to hour episodes. Some of the episodes overstay their welcome.

Well, I'll tell you: I don't think Russell would've won that season, even if he was swapped onto the other tribe. While Rob certainly benefitted from a tribe of younger, more impressionable people, Russell was completely unwilling to evolve and change up his game. Also, if Ometepe was already struggling to tolerate Phillip's bullshit, they definitely weren't going to put up with Russell's.
