Three RAW qualifying matches will be New Day v Alpha Academy (Otis/Tozawa), DIY v Creed Brothers and Miz/R-Truth v Indus Sher. Couple of obvious winners there in New Day and Miz/R-Truth, but it's a shame either DIY or the Creed Brothers will miss out here, because I'd have had both in there. Oh well, the Creeds are young, they got many WrestleManias ahead of them if they stay healthy. Given the push they’ve been getting lately lack of Imperium is quite strange.

I'm still waiting on word on if Kaiser is injured or not, because last week in that match with Judgment Day he took a bump to the outside and just snapped away holding his leg like something had gone, like a knee or an ankle.

As for the SmackDown side of things (without knowing what the matches are)... Dunne/Bate seems pretty obvious as one qualifier and as for the other, it's a toss up between Pretty Deadly and Wilde/Del Toro. I expect Street Profits and Authors Of Pain to cancel each other out as part of their big stable feud, and I'd say the same for lWo v Legado Del Fantasma but, with them trying to get Dragon Lee involved, it becomes a six-on-four feud and if any tag match comes out of it, I suspect it'll be Rey/Carlito/Lee as their lead trio. Unless Legado finds another two to go along with them, at least (which I'd suggested in the past be Dominik and Andrade, but that's a longshot).

Ya'll sleeping on Waller/Theory here Definitely possible, sure, they’re just so tied into the Paul/Orton/Owens stuff (god, that’s an unfortunate acronym) that it’s kind of been out of sight, out of mind in terms of the tag division because they haven’t been interacting with it. Them not being shown in the montages hyping potential challengers didn’t help that perception, either.

I would expect New Day, Awesome Truth, and most likely Creed Brothers from Raw. Smackdown depends on what they do with the Street Profits and AOP at Mania. Will they be involved in some sort of match with Kross and Lashley? I think the Street Profits will definitely be wrestling at Mania. I'd expect Theory/Waller to get in there unless their Wrestlemania match is tied to Kevin Owens. Dunne/Bate get in if Street Profits or Theory/Waller do something else.

Yeah and DIY has been ever present in the Awesome Truth of it all while the Creeds have not been seen much so I’d be shocked if the Creeds beat DIY next week.

Could see a scenario where one team grabs one set of belts, and the other gets the other set of belts, and that’s how the split happens. That's precisely what I expect to happen. SmackDown has too deep of a tag roster to have no champions on their brand. For reference, the last time Finn Balor and Damian Priest defended their championships on SmackDown (hell, the last time they had a match on SmackDown) was against The Street Profits last November.

I like the Creeds, but I’d have them sit this out and start pushing them for real after Mania.

*Reads this thread Me: ..... we actually have this many tag teams? Part of what makes the tag division so confusing right now. They have probably the healthiest diversity of tag teams in decades and instead the tag belts exist as a useless backdrop to the Judgment Day having a bunch of singles matches and bickering constantly.

Crazy how deep the division is. I can think of a dozen worthy teams. Judgment Day New Day DIY Awesome Truth Creed Brothers Alpha Academy (if Gable loses tonight) Imperium Pretty Deadly Dunne/Bate Street Profits AOP LWO Legado I can't take DIY seriously with that theme. It's Conwayesque in its ability to kill any sort of heat and the sooner the team gets new music, the better.

The fact we got a tag division this deep is the most surprising thing about this. I'm shocked we got like 15 legit tag teams. If they book well we could be looking at some late 2010s level of tag team greatness.

One of the worst themes for wrestling of all time.

I would have actually enjoyed Awesome Truth vs. Judgement Day (which is saying because I hate the Miz) but I understand getting everyone on the card.

Hopefully they at least introduce new Tag Title designs on the preshow or something like they did with the Woman’s Title at Wrestlemania 32. Why they are still carrying to sets of belts 2 years after they unified I have no stinkin idea

I wish they would get new title belts also as I'm not crazy about the nickel belts.
Maybe a controversial ending where one Raw team grabs one set of belts and a SD team grabs another set leading to the belts being split?
