I really like him on Monday Night Raw and he’s fine. But in a three man booth, sometimes I wish he’d shut up sometimes. He also is a little kayfabe breaking in his commentary.
Just want him to simmer down, have fun, but actually be a wrestling color guy.

I was in the minority when he first started and I disliked him. He's somehow gotten worse since. We all need to listen to dah more. Yes

It's reminding me a lot of when JBL moved on to commentary.
A wonderful breath of fresh air for the first year or two. Then much more of a mixed bag after that.
I think his unfamiliarity with what's been going on since his absence is intended to be sort of charming outsider view, but he's having a few foot-in-the-mouth moments where he really should be a bit more informed.

Also, he's one of the oldest looking 36-year-olds I've ever seen. My man spent 4 years in Morgantown West By God Virginia Trust me, dude has lived 3 lifetimes.

Whether you like him or not, you’ve got to admit Michael Cole is infinitely better when he’s with Pat. Much more relaxed, comes across much more natural, seems like he’s genuinely having fun rather the the fake bullshit.
Personally, I thought the commentary was phenomenal last night. Thought the 3 guys played off each other really well

Overall I enjoy his unbridled enthusiasm.
But as someone alluded to before, he sometimes veers off into Art Donovan territory.

Of course. He's much better with no Vince there.

Also, he's one of the oldest looking 36-year-olds I've ever seen. He's 36?! I thought he was mid 40's, and with an ironic, dude-bro persona. Kinda like Mark Madden.

He's inoffensive to me and given some of the atrocities we've had to listen to for years on end, I mean that as a compliment.

You ever known that guy that seems like fun to hang out with at first, but they're still partying at 1 AM and you just want to go home but they insist that "just one more bar, bro, I hear they have hot chicks there!".
That's Pat McAfee to me.

He’s sometimes fun and sometimes grating. He was such a breath of fresh air when he first showed up, but I think he’d be better just doing a match or two rather than a whole show.
Definitely should have been Wade doing Wrestlemania.
And yeah, I also thought he was mid 40’s lol.

WWE: "We're cool again!" Pat McAfee: "YEET YEET YEET YEET YEET YEET YEET YEET YEET YEET YEET YEET YEET YEET YEET YEET YEET YEET" Cole saying they've lost his partner for the rest of the night was good, though.

That actually blows my mind. WWE is going on about how they're cool again, while I'm at home watching and thinking, "Wait, people still say 'yeet'? And it's somebody's catchphrase? And one of their commentators is driving it into the ground?"

He's better than Booker T, I'll give him that.
And with that, Pat McAfee has won the award for "Lowest Bar Ever Cleared."

My friend once described this guy we knew as being someone that would "have a good time if he was on fire." It wasn’t a compliment. The guy's car could’ve been getting towed, and he would’ve to tell you what a great time it all was. That’s how Pat strikes me.

Pat on Raw is great to me. He was kinda annoying at Wrestlemania because of the three man booth. But I like him a lot with Michael on Raw because he keeps the energy going.

OP yeeted all over himself with this one. I love his enthusiasm tbh. Lot of El Generico references last night too so he’s at least somewhat familiar with wrestling history 😂
