Probably a 6 or a 7 but Roman’s reign is over so it’s a 100

A mid-6, mostly because Roman is finally no longer champion.
Having watched both nights, I still don't understand why WWE is super hot right now.

9. Nostalgia won’t allow anything to top X7 for me but it was a great Mania. Probably tops Mania 38 night 1 as my favorite single night since they switched to the 2 day format.
I’m pretty sure last year I voted 9 night for night 1 and 7 for night 2 so the exact opposite this time. Some stuff underdelivered on night 1 this time (Jey/Jimmy) while more stuff overdelivered night 2. I wasn’t expecting to enjoy the street fight or US title matches as much as I did and I thought IYO/Bayley might be just fine but ended up really liking it.
Have to think about it in months/years to come once recency bias is gone but felt like a top 5 ending to Mania or even PPV in general.

I enjoyed it for the most part, missed most of the AJ-LA Knight match and the Kross match. But I think I would enjoy them if I can rewatch. Only one I didn't like was the triple threat, but its mostly my bias of Logan Paul and I cant enjoy anything he does so I tune out due to him.
Ended up missing night 1, going out last night instead of watching it and it doesn't seem worth the watch.

8 for me. Personal highlights were Styles v Knight, IYO v Bayley, Priest cashing in and Roman is not Champion anymore.

Seems like more than anything the theme of this WrestleMania was, "Just win the damn match." Gunther, Drew, the Final Testament, Roman, they all lost because they took their eye off the prize.

9 for me. Could have done without Bubba or Punk. Otherwise an excellent show.

I only watched the matches that interested me -- Drew vs Seth, Bayley vs Iyo and the main event. I also decided to watch the Street Fight as they are always fun. I couldn't give a toss about Logan Paul and LA Knight. So I skipped those.
But the matches I watched were a lot of fun. So I can't complain.

I started this one about as lukewarm as could be from yesterday, but boy was I proven wrong. It's like the company actually listened to criticisms and pivoted, from the in-ring aspect to the obnoxious advertising. And the crowd felt like a completely different one from yesterday, they were awake from the get go. Seth vs. Drew: Started off hot, and the crowd was there for it. My only knock was Punk on commentary. The man is just obnoxious. Drew motioning for the GTS, Punk "He's signaling how he's trying to put the crowd to sleep" literally MOMENTS AFTER the crowd chanting "this is awesome!" So many "just shut up Phil" moments. From bitching about Drew trying to steal his move (uhhhhh what did you do?), to his lame insults trying to sound cool. I want to watch this match back with his commentary on mute. That being said, LOVED Priest cashing in. This is the dude we dunked on in ROH for being a wack Undertaker wannabe. Good for him, massive feel good moment there. Kinda wish right after Priest wins we hadn't cut to Punk, but eh, nitpick. Good way to kick off the show. Philadelphia Street Fight: This didn't need to be on the card at all, but even this one delivered. I wrote in my notes "Okay the crowd is HERE for night two". In a dead crowds hands this match would have felt as awkward as night 1's stuff. LA Knight vs. AJ Styles: THIS MATCH ALSO DELIVERED. Hell it over delivered. AJ has one of his best WM showings, and Knight looked great too. I was not expecting this one to be as good as it was. US Title: Not thrilled Logan retained. I wanted a moment of KO and Sami in the ring together with their titles (ala Benoit and Eddie), but it was still a great match. And I once again have to give Logan his props for how good he is at this. Iyo vs. Bayley: This match was GOOD. The last five minutes were stellar. My only knock is that I think Bayley's finishers are kinda lame. I've always hated the belly to belly as a finish going back to Shane Douglas, and the Roseplant is the new Overdrive to me. That aside, great match, the ending sequence (aside from finishers) was well executed. I'm glad the crowd is so into Bayley, but man those Bayley sing-a-longs got irritating after like 5 straight minutes of it when they were trying to tell a story in the ring together, and the crowd just wanted to sing. Eventually they started booing Iyo and just chanting Bayley, and the match was all the better for it. Roman vs. Cody: This was kinda the opposite of yesterday where I felt they could have went about 10 more minutes before shenanigans ensued. They were really getting into that second gear that I like so much. I am sad there was no Austin to counter The Rock. The crowd was waiting for it, waiting to erupt for the glass shattering, but Taker was an okay surprise, and they cheered for that too. I think Austin would have been cooler given their history. The story is finally over. Roman is finally beaten. Now Dwayne can kick Roman out of the Bloodline for failing to get the job done after everything The Rock did to make sure he would win, and Cody can have a (hopefully shorter) long overdue title reign. Overall: This felt like Wrestlemania. Yesterday felt like a 4 hour pre-show. The matches were better (even the ones that looked meh on paper), the crowd was a million times better, the adverts weren't as god awful and misplaced, and the entire vibe felt special from the jump. Subtract Punk, and Bruce Pritchard (both personal bias and I admit that) and it's a 10. As it stands a Roman Loses /10 It's nice having a legit crowd supported babyface that Vince can't ruin. Also interesting Pat McAfee making weed references and straight up saying "shit" on commentary in the main event.

But Drew's was at least part of the overall story... since in the lead up he was pointing out that Seth took his eye off the prize and was too concerned with helping Cody to worry about his title defense... and then Drew wins and takes his eyes off the prize and goes to harass Punk which led to him losing the title.

Right. He was all set to walk away, but he saw Punk and decided he just *had* to shake his ass at him, so to speak

Even as someone who barely watches wrestling these days, I thought that was a very strong show. 9/10.
Easily the best Mania since the two-night concept began and probably the best WM overall since WM31.
Only thing that brought it down a notch for me was the Rollins/McIntyre/Priest stuff. The crowd was hot for it, which made it more palatable, but why the hell is Damian Priest the world champion? He must be the 'coldest' world champ since Jack Swagger. Even Jinder Mahal was built up for a few weeks before he won it. The match itself was not my favourite either - I don't care for finisher spam matches at all.
Otherwise as I said, very strong show. About as good as WWE could have produced. Main event was near perfect (only missing Stone Cold which was a shame). Special mentions to Knight vs Styles which I was pleasantly surprised by, very good match. And Bayley vs Iyo Sky which I thought was excellent and probably the best match over the two nights.

A solid 8. Some great matches, but nothing that would count as an all time WrestleMania match.

I voted 9.
Seth-Drew was a fun bomb fest. Put Seth over well even in a loss. Drew got a big crowd moment that he'd been denied, then some excellent character work that backfired and Priest gets the biggest win of his career as well. Really sets up seeds for the future. Bobby/Profits vs Testament was okay, bit of a breather. Though Snoop livened it up on commentary, he knows pro wrestling and has the gift of the gab. LA-AJ was good solid stuff. AJ can sure still go, and the crowd loves Knight. Paul-Owens-Orton was a lot of fun thanks to Paul's athleticism and the Owens & Orton comedy act. They really need to do a good cameo for the Prime energy bottle spot sometime soon, though. Iyo-Bayley took a little while to get cooking but rocked by the end. Great to see Bayley get a big WrestleMania win and have the crowd behind her so much. And Cody-Reigns, well, also took a little while but turned the heat up and up and up. The string of cameos was such an entertaining escalation I didn't want it to stop, and it was such a great celebration for Cody.
Extra notes - The crowd was a lot livelier, I'm willing to point the finger on Night 1 due to the cold. Much more energy this night. Samantha Irvin's voice first cracking in disbelief at Priest's cash-in, and then especially cracking from emotion in Cody's new champ announcement, were really fantastic moments. And Michael Cole seemed like a man with the weight of decades off his shoulder by the end.
Since I gave Night 1 a 7, that's an overall 8 for WrestleMania XL. Pretty happy with that.

I voted Roman lost!
But in all honesty, it was 100 out of 10 and all the motherf***ing stars in the galaxy. Good matches throughout the night, but that main event, that was perfection. That made Cody losing last year, Roman's run of dominance all completely worth it.

The article on BBC News website which can be summarised as "WWE put on a hell of a show" is currently the 4th most read article on the site.
Still getting chills thinking about that main event, even better than Mania 30 for me.
