Slightly surprised she didn't decide to go by "Stephanie Levesque" in order to distance herself farther from Vince.

Hard to be a fan of her after leading the "thank you Vince" chants. There was more than enough out there at the time for her to know that was a horrible idea. It’s her dad lol. It seems like she eventually saw the light as she voted against him coming back twice. But at the time, she was thinking that maybe Vince was gone for good and all his bs could be put in the past with his legacy intact. Obviously that didn’t happen.

Yeah, it's hard to feel comfortable with a lot of stuff that happened that last night in particular, especially with a looming lawsuit impending where stuff is going to come out about her, Nick Khan, Bruce Pritchard (which, by the way, the f***, Cody?) even HHH, potentially others and yet this weird notion of authority being paraded just unsettles me. The only reason the Vince stuff worked was because he knew how to treat himself like a cartoon villain because, well, that's how people see management types (which now has worse undertones than it did at the time because of *waves arms in the air*).

I mean it was still her dad and by all accounts she did everything she could to keep him away and I think she’s estranged from him now. You gotta empathize with her for having a monster like this as her father

That opening segment was basically her way of saying "f*** you dad".

That opening segment was basically her way of saying "f*** you dad". They might as well have put up a billboard advertising “First ever Vince free WrestleMania!!!!” with how hard they were hammering that point home. Without ever once saying his name, it was quite smoothly done.

The main reason I wish she hadn't is that otherwise the last time a McMahon appeared on WWE TV would have been Shane following the family tradition of destroying your quad at the funniest possible moment.

Yeah between that and the Ashley Massaro stuff I have no love for Steph. Ashley herself never alleged anything about Stephanie, if I recall the affidavit correctly. It was only the “friend” of Ashley that brought her name up (and then who subsequently got trashed by Ashley’s actual daughter).

PWInsider reports that internally, WWE listed it as a Triple H segment to keep her return a surprise.

I saw her face and instantly pressed fast forward. Been doing that for at least 10 years. Old habits are hard to break.

Some pictures going around on Reddit that shows Linda was there as well, she was apparently at the Hall of Fame and there Sunday - but not Saturday as she was at a different event then.

It was nice to hear Triple H saying about how she's back home and she's had a good experience over Mania weekend which removed all her self doubt.
She's been in that company basically since she was born so this past year or so (even without all the Vince stuff) must have been really challenging having to adjust to life without something which has always been the biggest thing in it.

Yeah, I mean she talks about Andre the Giant being one of her best friends and you can see really young pictures of Stephanie in the old WWF Catalogue.
