This man was unbelievable last night. He had some great calls in the past (Daniel Bryan’s main event win at WM30 for example) but my god he’ll never top himself from Cody/Roman. “Damn it I love professional wrestling!” is a quote for the ages.

It’s insane that he had this in him all those years but he just wasn’t allowed to do it. This man is a hall of famer, and he deserves all the flowers.

It's gonna sound weird, but since he's been one of WWE's voices for almost my entire life, it's like kind of comfortable hearing him on commentary.

Hoping this doesn’t go against board rules ( if it does, blame Cole! He said it!!) but Cole screaming “HOLY CHRIST!!!” when Taker appeared behind Rock was my favorite call of the night.

It reminded me of True Cole’s emergence at Summerslam 2023 when he was just losing his mind more and more as the Last Man Standing match got crazier and crazier.

It’s actually pretty admirable he’s been around for 27 years. By some of his recent lines and works, it seems like he REALLY hated Vince. Surprised he never just left on his own accord.

I feel like it's a combination of being around for so long that he finally reached that 'elder stateman' kind of vibe, and moreover being finally allowed to lean into that when away from Vince's obsessive micro-management.

I'm happy for him. And he's having the most fun of his career too, sounds like.

It's really amazing how great a commentator can sound when a crazy old man isn't screaming at him every three seconds to say this or say that

Dude's had some real bad eras and real bad moments, but through that there's always been a really awesome guy and commentator in that when he's allowed to be, and it's nice to see he's finally allowed to do that freely.

Said it in the Mania thread, will say it again... he'll have a crazy Hall of Fame speech one day.

And since we’re on commentary, I really enjoyed Snoop calling a match like that. His reactions to all the wild shit were great. “Oh damn, watch your back girl!!”

snoop did a great job and i like to think of his time on commentary basically being an on the show version of that guy/gal at WM parties who doesn't know anything about wrestling

at first they're just doing their own thing and some crazy shit happens, they're like "OH SHIT, THE CHAIR, WHAT"

Always been a fan of Cole! I even liked him back when he was reading messages from the anonymous GM.

My one complaint is he should have kept up his beef with Bayley for Wrestlemania. Mostly becasue I find their feud hilarious.

I'm glad you all enjoy him. I appreciate him as a seemingly genuine guy who loves his job. But he inspires no emotion in me and never has unfortunately. I find his commentary very predictable. He has been better lately.
