It really should not bother you that much what my personal thoughts and opinions are about John Cena, especially that era I'm not calling you out specifically or personally, it's literally one example in a list of like a half dozen things I didn't like about a decade of booking off the top of my head, sorry if upsets you but I'm not gonna ignore it if it pertains to a topic for your personal benefit man. To get back at the topic, the super Cena run was something I wish I didn't spend so much time hating. I gotta adimit, imo Cena was is the perfect example of "you will miss me when I'm gone." Sure him winning a lot was tiresome, but the product up until recently was so much more boring without him, and all the guys who we said were "better" for his spot, proved to not be the case. Imo of course. I have not missed John Cena at all Like he's much easier to stomach now that he's in the role he's been in, but when he was at his worst, the company was almost unwatchable to me... I really do not miss that era at all lol, but it's fine if people do, it just... it was not for me.

Post-draft 2016 Smackdown really was something special. Probably the most fun I’ve had watching in the Roman/2010s Cena era. The way they followed that up with half a year of WWE Champion Jinder Manual was just cruel.
The Rise of Bryan was another favorite moment of mine. WWE was always capable of putting on good shows whenever they tried, problem is they rarely tried.

Zack Ryder was a wasted opportunity after he somehow got himself over as the Internet Champion. Nash and Triple H hijacking Summer of Punk 2011 was incredibly pointless and Nash really had no business being inside a ring at that point IMO The Nexus was a wasted opportunity as it felt like they could've been more than they were but booking let them down WWE Champion Jinder Mahal, nothing against the guy as he seems cool but I don't rate him as a wrestler and I think his reign was really, really bad. Diva era, hated the belt and not many matches to write home about that didn't include Paige, Natalya or Beth Phoenix or Charlotte/Sasha Super Cena era, just didn't enjoy the booking for the most part personally speaking. Never hated the guy personally but I found it a slog to get through at times Anonymous GM Michael Cole's heel run

High points
- Daniel Bryan's Wrestle Mania moment at Mania 30 - Rise of NXT - CM Punk's shoot promo in 2011 - S.H.I.E.L.D. - AJ Styles Royal Rumble debut - Seth's cash-in at Wrestle Mania 31 - Bret returning to WWE to beat Vince at Mania, match was crap due to Bret not being able to wrestle anymore as expected but the build-up and the payoff was awesome to me - Undertaker v Shawn - Shawn's retirement

Diva era, hated the belt and not many matches to write home about that didn't include Paige, Natalya or Beth Phoenix or Charlotte/Sasha There was also AJ Lee and Kaitlyn, but I wish Kaitlyn would have regained the Divas title from AJ at MITB 2013 instead of losing two times in a row, and the "You tapped out!" chants didn't help either. The earlier part of their feud was fine, though.

The whole Authority angle was the worst and if I had learned better coping skills by then, I would've stopped watching Raw altogether at that point. Probably would've still watched Smackdown as I don't remember it being nearly as omnipresent there.

But personally speaking I didn't most of the Diva matches at all and the main ones I look back on with any sort of positivity tend to include Paige, Sasha, Charlotte, Beth or Natalya.

Low point was late 2018 Raw with GM Corbin and Dean Ambrose’s heel run bombing so badly. That was awful. That timeframe also had WWE absolutely kill off so much of the heat that Braun Strowman had by having him bottle it so many times, turn him heel then turn him back face and have him fail once again against Beastie Boy. The low point of that year I would probably put Hell in a Cell, if Bitchhalla had existed back then Roman and Braun would have ascended into it that night. They spent about 7 minutes on the deck after a routine table bump while Seth and Dean battled at the time the heatless duo of Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre on the outside of the cell, then Beastie Boy turned up to tear the door off the cage which for some reason meant the match was a no contest and Braun blew his MitB cash in.

I have to say, the most entertaining collective meltdown of the wrestling commmunity I've ever seen was Seth Rollins vs. The Fiend Hell in a Cell. Johnblud's epic rant on the newlegacyinc Twitch and Alvarez literally rolling on the floor in laughter as he realized the absurdity of everything that happened was something else, and I know there are other takes on that match that are just as hilarious. I would die to hear Johnblud go off on this. Please tell me you have a link

Shoutout goes to Roman/Brock from WM to Saudi in 2018. Roman tries to give smarky comments about being screwed despite losing clean and the ending of their cage match bombing cause Roman’s feet hit first coming out of the cage.

In the cage match after that spot in which Reigns could easily have gotten a serious neck injury, Roman had one foot on the apron and didn't get it on the floor untill after Beastie Boy rolled off the cage wall and got both his feet on the mat outside the ring. Amazing thing is that Roman wasn't the biggest Bottle Job that year, Braun choked at the Royal Rumble, Hell in a Cell and Crown Jewel in 2018.

I can't really remember some high points since I stopped watching roughly in 2016-2018, though I'll say NXT's Golden Years, DBry winning at WM30 and 2016-era SmackDown were my favorites.
The biggest low point in the 2010's in my eyes would go to the awfulness that is The Authority. There was little, if anything good to say about that storyline, and the sheer amount of damage it did to the company's perception and booking until Vince was booted out is just astronomic. I know it feels exaggerated, but I just hated that storyline so damn much.
If I could add another bad point (sorry for the negativity) would be Baron Corbin & Roman's feud in 2019 which involved Dog Food and other bad shenanigans. Hell, if I recall, Roman himself hated that storyline and came close to leaving the company because of it (though his return as a heel at least rejuvenated his career)

There was a period of time where it felt like half of RAW was freakin' Baron Corbin. Even his mom was like "Oh goddamn not this loser! Somebody change the channel!" whenever his music hit.

They had Seth Rollins call him ratings poison to his face and blame him for business being down... only to keep forcing more Corbin!

WWE in 2019: "We know our product sucks." *keeps doing what they've been doing* Thankfully, I have much more faith in 2024 WWE to fix what they f*** up.

So many low lights. It got me to tap out after watching every single Raw for 25 years.
A few that come to mind:
Ziggler winning Survivor Series only to be back in the mid card or lower almost immediately. Baron Corbin, just Baron Corbin. Raw Underground. The Authority.

Roman-Brock in 2018. One of the worst Wrestlemania main events of all the time then rather than cut losses...they did it again the next month...then they had yet another and main evented Summerslam. And after all that Roman didn't even get a clean win in the end. Braun distracted Brock and it seemed like Roman was lucky to capitalize and not really the better man.
