I’d say 5. None of the matches did a lot for me. All the 1 votes seems a little disingenuous here.

7 out of 10 for me
I mean lets park the All In stuff for a sec. I don't think it landed possible like AEW hoped, but it wasn't end of world WCW 2000 stuff. They linked it to FTR feud somewhat ok. Lets see how they follow up next week.
But its hard to rate this show as it was all built around the All In stuff. Was like a shadow hanging over it. But there were plenty of good stuff on this but maybe not enough considering the potential extra eyes on product.
Penta/Copeland was superb. Exactly the type of match I want to see from Copeland in AEW. Unique opponents, out of his comfort zone. Dustin/Joe a nice sprint. Okada does the best squash matches in the business.
Show needed another banger match really. And the show is really missing Hangman and Mox for me.

Not sure if I should say it though as I don't the thread to be closed. Feck it, I'll say it. I'm quite enjoying this Jericho/Hook stuff

Judging by the amount of poster who rarely or never post in the AEW section that showed up tonight trashing the company I’d say many of those votes are disingenuous. No different than anytime there is a highly praised show and suddenly there are 4 or 5 one votes. It’s sad.

So much stupidity. The countdown to The Bucks was complete nonsense, in kayfabe how do they know to the second? It depends on match length, especially after a last minute card change. Doing it straight after a match before commercial makes way more sense.
Then when the video came everything but Matt's shtick was a waste of time. Made worse by Ospreay ranting away straight after. None of it stemming from anything recent on screen. The crowd were just confused by non sequiturs and bad pacing.
Callis wanting to protect Ospreay by having him wrestle less often and Will pushing back would have achieved the same thing but actually fit and progressed a story.
I think the Hook and Jericho stuff has potential now Chris is more overtly heelish, Shibata's translations are funny, it was going fine but then Hook losing a match via extended bickering was very out of character.
Mercedes had zero entertainment value again. The world champion cheating to beat old man Dustin was dumb.
The opening match and HoB/Willow stuff saved the show and May's segment was at least confusing in an interesting way.
3/10

While I disagree with your take, I enjoyed the show, it is much appreciated to see someone give a bad rating and explain their reasons. Much respect to you, wish more were like this.

God what a weird show. Copeland vs Penta was a good start but then everything after that sort of dove off a Cliff into mediocrity or was the Young Bucks/FTR segment (I'm not a fan of this current angle, this was a bad idea all around) thankfully it picked up with Dustin vs Joe and the rest of the show. 6/10

Liked the show in general, mostly because Mina Shirakawa showing up, Copeland/Penta and the first two backstage promos of the night were all fantastic, Stokely needs to always be a major part of the show and everything else was solid.
Thought it looked light match wise on paper though and that proved to be the case. Anna/Mariah and the six man tag were both perfectly entertaining, and the main a good match, but a big step down to what they usually do. Felt a bit like they booked it more like a WWE show early on as they thought they might have a few WWE fans eyes on it and they absolutely shouldn't try and do that.
Didn't love Ospreay going in on HHH, but can understand why he did, and thought Mercedes sounded disingenuous in her promo although when she began to scowl when Willow was mentioned I'm starting to think that's just deliberate and she'll be a heel before long.
The footage was what it was, they used it for actually further stuff with Perry (Matt wearing the scapegoat shirt surely means he comes back soon) and FTR while Punk looked a complete nob. I imagine the discourse on it will be hilariously awful but it was never going to be that much more than it was, all the bits we'd heard had happened were in there.

I'll go 7 since that opener was great, Willow/Copeland vs. Julia/Brody should be a lot of fun, Joe/Dustin was cool and I'm glad Joe and Swerve is getting more heat behind it, couple solid promos, etc...and a bonus point because I really like Shane Taylor and I'm glad his team is in the W column. Also good to see the Jericho/Hook stuff isn't staying in neutral, they're moving it along.
That said, show could've used one more really strong match, and the number of top guys who are missing right now for various reasons stands out. Don't know if the footage segment impacted my enjoyment of the show, I thought the Bucks handled their side of things quite well, but I get it if it created a weird fog around a chunk of the show for some people.
...this show also had Mina Shirakawa, and in a vacuum that's worth an 11/10.

I got to see Adam Copeland, Will Ospreay, Shibata and motherf***ing OKADA in person. 4 dudes I love and had long resigned myself to never seeing in person. f*** the discourse and bullshit. I love professional wrestling and this was a 10/10 night. /the end I've said it before but Okada is just special to see live. Few wrestlers I've ever seen have that sort of superstar aura about them. I saw him at All In, and I'd love to see him again.

I liked Penta/Adam and A Rhodes vs A Samoan Named Joe the tubi version.
But everything else was just..there. And with all the discourse and bullshit, I feel like having an ehh show with all eyes on them is kinda unfortunate imo.

So I missed the footage discussion thread before it was locked, but wow that footage turned out to be nothing. I was almost positive it was going to show Punk being terribly embarrassed by Perry or at least show that Punk was a liar and a crazed madman. It looked like a high school locker room scuffle or a hockey fight with no punches thrown and quickly broken apart. And then Punk gets his name chanted on TV - which was part of the reason I thought it was odd that the Bucks as heels were showing this footage. Just a baffling decision.
Looking forward to watching the Penta-Cope and Joe-Dustin matches when I get a chance.

Opener was fun. Main event was ok I guess? Sweve/Joe stuff was good too. Everything else was meh to me. I gave it a 6. Not every week can be a banger, and the footage stuff was just silly IMO. It was unnecessary to even show it for the angle that ended up coming out of it.

The build for Dynasty was going great, but man, last two weeks feels like its gone off the rails. AEW are booking their shows in a reactionary way; they need to just get back to themselves. Drown out the bullshit with good wrestling and angles.
Crowds have sucked lately too. Dunno if its a case of them running venues half full or what, but it really takes away from the quality of the show.

I think it's the crowds being half full and just having some out of character segments from the company helps that too
