Gave it a 9. Best Collision in a while. Always happy when I get to see Shibata on tv.
Speaking of being on tv, can Athena come back to AEW please? She's way too good to be stuck on a subscription service show that no one watches.

What I saw of both was strong, but I have rewatch a batch of things: I was just having far, far too much fun doing my taxes during the show, so I was pretty distracted.
In spite of that distraction, though, I was thrilled to see that AZM always @#$%ing rules.

10 for me I can't think of anything that'd mark it down personally. Storm v AZM and the tag match between Hobbs/Fletcher and Danielson/Castognoli as well as the trios tag match were my personal top three highlights of the night.
BOTB that followed was a 6 out of 10 with Athena v Velvet being the highlight personally.
But yeah, really enjoyed Collision personally so a 10 out of 10 for me.

I take very little of what I read/hear from Alvarez seriously these days. The crowd was red hot all night up until the Strong/Romero match, and even then it's not like they were completely dead for it or Athena/Velvet. I don't take Alvarez seriously period. But tbf I don't take wrestling journalists seriously anyway lol.

Just got around to seeing it - easy 9. Really fun two shows overall. Alvarez said the main thing he noticed was the lack of heat throughout the show and I've decided that Bryan and I are just watching two different broadcasts because I thought the crowd was pretty good throughout the show. Maybe he meant in a heel heat way because tye likes of Toni and HoB are nominally the villains but are generally well liked. There was a bit of an exhibition feeling at times. I don't see that as a bad thing though, the important thing is that the crowd are invested and they were.
