Typically, I wouldn’t care to describe myself. I’ve been told repeatedly that my own self-description of myself is far more pessimistic and unimpressive than others claim they have of me.

I’m told I’m a likable and caring guy who is easy to talk to. I think I’m quite forgettable and pretty self centered who at least tries to make up for my selfishness.

Some things that I do agree with others about myself:

- I have a form of muscular dystrophy that is caused by a mutation in a primary component of connective tissue that causes issues beyond just being weak and easily exhausted.
- Despite having a MD disability, I am far better off than many others with serious disabilities. In fact, my disability might not be immediately obvious to a casual observer.
- Related to the MD, I was bullied relentlessly as a kid. This was made worse by having several markers for autism but not enough to land on the spectrum. I was horrendously socially awkward and spent a lot of time as a kid alone. This meant I had few allies to defend me from the bullying. It probably plays a large part in my attitude about myself.
- I am reasonably intelligent, though I know there are others that know a lot of things that I do not.

Tall, fat, and reserved. Overly polite and will apologize for everything, even if it is nothing I was a part of or had control over. Once I get to know someone and trust them most of that is out the window as I will make the dirtiest and darkest jokes most have ever heard or do anything to get you to laugh and smile. Loyal to a fault but also brutally honest. If you f*** told up I'll tell you that you did, how bad it is, and question what you were thinking but I'll be there to help you out, even if it turns others against me.

Also bipolar and if the mania is strong with me I will do and say things in anger that no person should ever hear or experience, so stay away if I tell you to.

I'm shy when I first meet someone or in a new situation, but then I get comfortable very quickly. I could stand to lose a few pounds and am loyal to a fault. I have a lot of acquaintances but few friends. The friends I do have I would ride through the gates of hell with.

I've got an eclectic taste in music and am the joker in pretty much any group I'm in. I tried being serious once and people thought it was hilarious.

I'm 39, single, and never been married (came close once and in retrospect should have moved forward with that gf). I love dogs but haven't had one in 7 years.

Going by what others tell me.

I look like I listen to piles of metal bands,not really but I am told I got that appearance.

Depending on my mood and where I am I will be either extremely quiet or talk a pile.

And "you always appear to be happy". Guess I smile often who knows.

And been told ,by vets,that the way I walk and just move shows I spent time in the military. And seeing footage on my walking yea I see it.


But really I'm just a guy that has lived mostly in the rural south. That loves comics,wrestling,horror and most genres of music. And a nice quiet evening sitting on her couch with a stack of comics we are reading as some sitcom plays on the tv is the perfect night.

Oh and I am more than likely the #1 Hardcore Holly and Sho Funaki fan in North America.

I've been told I'm like a big teddy bear. I'm 6'2, over 300lbs, though apparently I don't look over 300lbs (or so I've been told)? Clean shaved, can't grow a beard to save my life. Blue eyes. Brown hair, though a few greys have appeared.

With friends I'm silly and fun and crack a lot of jokes. At work and other places where I'm not comfortable, I tend to be much more reserved. I generally try to be kind to everyone. I keep finding myself in positions of leadership whether I seek them out or not. Currently, I'm a night shift supervisor. This means that I'm usually tired from working long hours on nightshift. Lonely. I love spending time with friends but I also need alone time, introverted extrovert I guess. I'm sometimes too quick to apologize for something that may or may not be my fault.

I love comics, sci-fi, fantasy, board games, rpgs, videogames, puzzles and other stuff.

Im a very shy introverted and extremely anxious person with a childish sense of humour, and i get rather passionate about animal welfare, mental health and womens rights issues that i may come off as angry when i post so i apologise when i do. I also have a sarcastic nature when i dislike something which i cant control! But most of all i always try to be kind and respectful and enjoy reading and listening to others more then myself.
