That was an enjoyable match. Sadly I accidentally got spoiled that he was winning but it was still a great match. I enjoyed Trick playing on the fact that Ilja had beaten him several times before by adopting some of Ilja's own moves. Often when a wrestler tries to use the other's moves it's more of a disrespect thing. Here I felt like he was trying to up his game and knew that these moves had put many including him down, so he went for it. Give me an angle now where Trick starts thinking he's Russian. From his first match where he was like a baby giraffe tripping over his own feet to now.
Only gripe is that it didn’t happen WrestleMania weekend. Should have had the moment in front of 10,000 people instead of the NXT Arena Usuals.
