Did anything even change in the draft lol 6 brand switches, 10 stayed. I saw the results, nothing really significant besides the call ups lol

I was rather underwhelmed by the draft portion, glad to see I'm far from the only one. It's funny, several stories advanced and yet they managed to make it feel like nothing even happened. Also, there was one point where we got a commercial break, came back for 3 minutes (I timed it) and another full commercial break. They can't even keep the main event commercial free. People are probably tired of my whining about commercials but damn I can't take this. 3/10.

Smackdown will probably have a similar amount of commercials on USA, though. The real solution is DVR, though. I can’t imagine sitting through the commercials live

5/10, good main event and I liked Carlito's reveal as the one who attacked Dragon Lee that's it.
The draft portion sucked IMO.

7. Everything not involving the draft was great apart from the dull contract signing. Draft was utterly pointless and felt like a waste of time.

Aldis looked like the dumbest guy last night. Made a big deal about signing Bron to an “exclusive contract.”
And then Bron just gets drafted away to Raw?

It was always bad when they were on Sky Sports (in the U.K.) but it seems to have gotten worse (at least in the U.K.) since they moved to TNT. Formerly known as BT Sports. Aldis looked like the dumbest guy last night. Made a big deal about signing Bron to an “exclusive contract.” And then Bron just gets drafted away to Raw? Yeah, I've generally enjoyed Nick's role in the WWE but that did make him look stupid. Another negative about last night's SD.

I can’t imagine sitting through the commercials live I work nights so I'll watch the shows the next morning on sportsnet. I am able to fast forward through the commercials. I just find it really jarring that every single match has 1-2 commercial breaks, often just as I'm getting into the match. Then there's no effort to catch people up on what happened during the break most times. It reminds me of watching latter day WCW, but even WCW never got this bad with commercial breaks. What kills me though is they do it on Raw, Smackdwon and NXT. Level up seems to be free of it. I got a one month subscription for sportsnet to watch mania and some of the shows to see if I want to get back into it full time and I just can't.

I've been enjoying SD lately, but I gave this episode a 6/10 in the live thread and was probably being generous.
