In NYC in the mid to late 80s we had the syndicated version of The Wonderful World of Disney that aired late Sunday morning or early Sunday afternoon. I don't remember the exact time. That was always a crapshoot though because some of the episodes were boring (to me) live-action stuff.

Even though I’ve said this before,
Student bodies, basically a saved by the bell style show in the vein of a Nickelodeon production playing on a Sunday at noon was quite a treat whenever I was able to stay home from church or get home early enough.
Also, the rare time when tnbc had to air on Sundays due to preemption on Saturdays was also quite an intereSting experience.
What was really felt awesome was when it happened to Fox kids and seeing X-men and the tick (and some other shows) on a Sunday. I think it only happened once here in la.

I remember when my family upgraded our cable package in the mid 90's and we got the Boston Superstation WSBK which became a UPN affiliate and they showed The Hulk animated series, Jumanji, a dub of the anime Tekkaman Blade (Tekknoman) and some cartoon that had a 3D glasses gimmick that I had forgotten the name of. (And no it wasn't The Botz Master, this one was more Space Opera like.)
Around the same time TBS had a brief Sunday morning slot for their HB/Turner shows: Jetsons, Yogi Bear, Captain Planet, SWAT Kats and 2 Stupid Dogs. (They also aired some of those same programs again Sunday afternoon as a lead in to WCW Main Event and then WCW Pro when it moved to that timeslot.)
Also around that time CBS in our area for some reason moved Garfield and Friends from its normal Saturday morning line up to 6AM Sunday mornings, and that was literally the only cartoon they showed that day as right after it was church/public affairs stuff for the rest of the morning. (Most weeks G&F was an hour though, as the second half was a re-airing of an older Garfield special.)
And then finally there was Fox affiliate WUTV which showed G.I Joe: Extreme and not much else.
