Not today or tomorrow, but sometime before he retires.
Do you think Ricochet could ever receive a World Title run similar to that of Kofi Kingston's?
Let's consider the parallels between the two. Both Ricochet and Kofi Kingston spent a considerable portion of their careers as midcarders, consistently delivering stellar performances but often relegated to secondary storylines. Then, suddenly, Kofi received a massive underdog babyface push that propelled him into the world title picture, culminating in a memorable WrestleMania moment with Daniel Bryan.
Could Ricochet ever be on a similar trajectory? He's undeniably talented, with a high-flying, fast-paced in-ring style that electrifies audiences. However, like Kofi before his push, Ricochet has primarily been used to elevate heels to the next level rather than being positioned as anywhere near a top contender.
In many ways, Ricochet reminds me of a modern-day Tito Santana, the post Strike Force version specifically. Both are of smaller stature compared to many of their opponents, both work a lightning-fast ring style, and both are consistently reliable hands on the card. Santana was often utilized to help build up heels for bigger feuds, much like Ricochet is today.
So, what are your thoughts? Do you see Ricochet potentially breaking out of his midcard status or do you think he's forever pigeonholed in his current role as a reliable workhorse helping others shine?

Nah I'm good, I think U.S/I.C title works just fine for him IMO.

Dude kicks ass in the ring but really needs something else as a character. LU's presentation and his persona as the silent Prince Puma helped make him look legit. He doesn't have those kinds of bells and whistles in WWE.

I just threw up in my mouth at the thought. On second thought, I need Ricochet as World Champion now.

I like Ricochet in the ring, but
Kofi can talk. Tito could talk. Neither are all time great promos or anything, but when they get fired up, they can make you feel it. The only thing anyone feels when Ricochet talks is sleepy.

In NXT, maybe, but otherwise, no, it's not likely.
I could probably name 10 guys in WWE who had a stronger chance of winning one of the world titles than he does.

I could see it with the right angle, dude is one of the kings of the flippy bullshit.
Lean into the cockiness I can do anything stuff, maybe toss a manager at him to handle most of the mic work.

I've noticed them pushing him up the card lately, in the world heavyweight title mix and all but I don't know. Remember this is a guy who had to win a match so the worst faction in WWE history would leave him alone. That said, he is the Pee champion now and there are others that I had written off in the past who managed to shake the terrible off and experience a resurgence. My guess is no, but I wouldn't bet the farm on it.

Ricochet is very talented while being one of the best in-ring workers in the company today but he's more better in the upper-midcard scene. Maybe someday he'll reach to the world title picture but as of right now, he's better off as a upper-midcarder.

In a smaller company, sure. âChet doesnât have the kind of command-the-room presence to be the face of a major globally touring promotion though.
