I bow my head to the man who kept me fed in college. RIP, good sir. Stoners everywhere are pouring their bong water on the curb in his honor. And as per Karisma's post, I was thinking college students should raise a toast with their beer bongs in his honor as well. R.I.P.

An enormous thank you to this man and his contributions to our society. With love he developed a product that has kept the younger ones in my family fed for decades. Also because of his efforts and compasion i am able to save money in college going for the maruchan ramen noodles instead of the expensive stuff. This is a sad sad day. the best Top Ramen is beyond nasty. I think its their chicken flavoring.

Side question:
do any of you know someone that, or do you, eat the noodles without cooking it? My roommate occasionally will just grab the noodles out of the pack and sprinkle the flavoring on it and just eat it. Its rather strange but maybe i just need to live a little.

My condolences. (sp?) That guy more or less single-handedly kept me alive when I was broke.

Also he died of a sodium overdose. 'Cause ramen has high sodium and all.

I stopped because it's kind of unhealthy to eat the salt part raw. I still eat it raw without the seasoning on occasion though.
