There's something about it I just don't like. The sets I think.

Fun, unique action movie. Not the best ever, but the universe created for the sake of telling the story was pretty deep. The characters were entertaining and Milla Jovovich (sp?) is not particularly unhot. Also, LOL at Ruby Rod.

The French STAR WARS perhaps? The only set I liked was Bruces apartment. It did set it apart, I will admit and it was completely different from any movie around that time, but aesthetically it wasn't pleasing at all and I actually had a hard time watching it because of this. I have always hated the scene where, for lack of a better word, goop begins to drip down Oldmans head. Why?

Do you REMEMEBER that scene of "Mr. Black" (I guess the bigger baddie of that universe) talking to Oldman? I think basically this metaphysical being basically was giving Oldman a physically painful reminder to NOT foul up again. It was BLOOD, not GOOP.

Yes, I REMEMBER. However, I just never understood it. If it looked like blood, I would've understood better, but it looked like goop. Dark brown goop.

I love this movie. It had a very colorful and unique atmosphere, yet we still see bruce willis blowing the hell out of people. Genius.

Who cares what was dripping out of his head, so long as it was. That priest should've let him choke!!!!!1 Seriously though, I know what you're talking about. It did look kind of off. But didn't that dude have tubes in his head and some kind of weird plate? Maybe it works different for people like that.

Yeah, he had that transparent plate on his head. That might've affected it actually. Perhaps he sent signals...of...some...sort and it hurt....him. No, I have no clue. But, you're probably more right than I am.

Movies can only be about half (if not way less) of what the originator of the whole things sees. He probably knows how much Bruce paid for his chinese food and the difference between space car models. I'll bet there's fanfiction. I just watched this yesterday ;D

I totally loved that movie ! That' s the one that made me start to mark for Bruce Willis ( and Milla Jovovitch as well ). Fun, action, emotion, aesthetic... what else could you want ? Oh and, the guy who made the sketches for the look of buildings, vehicles, costumes, etc... have been made by Moebius, a very awesome cartoonist, so there' s no surprise it looks great . Google him, you' ll see what I' m talking about. Oh and Ruby Rhod rocks !

The first time I saw the movie I wasn't a big fan, but I've grown to like it.
Without a doubt the best part is the opera going along with Leeloo kicking the shit out of the aliens.
