Polls? We don't need no stinking polls! But this just popped in my head and thought I'd ask the rest of y'all who was your favorite character in one of the bestest cartoon advertisements for an action figure line there ever was? Mine was Shipwreck www.myuselessknowledge.com/joe/shipwreck.htmlDunno why, just always thought he was cool, the fact that he sounded like Nicholson probably helped. Flint was a close second for my favorite 'Joe On the Cobra side of things I was a big Destro guy, and of course dug the Baroness. Now watch Snakeeyes run away with the rest of the forum's heart.

Gotta say Stormshadow, and because I'm a wrestling fan, Sgt. Slaughter.

Cobra Major Blood - The dude had an eye patch AND a cockney accent. That's just doubling of the pleasure type of stuff right there.
Joe Hmm, this is the difficult one. Quick Kick was rad, as was Shipwreck, Roadblock and Lady Jaye. But will as usual go with Flint, for the aweesome beret.

That's the one with the long rubber snake tail, right? HATED that thing. Had a friend who thought it would be "funny" to slap me in the face with it once.

For such a good friend, I only started to realize later in life what a total dick he was. ****er shot me in the ass with a BB gun, too. Twice.

G.I. Joe: Flash. He didn't get much coverage in the comics and usually only appeared in background roles in the cartoon, but he's still my favorite. There's something appealing about having a character whose background you can make up to fit your own stories. (Yeah, I had running storylines with my toys, so what?) Also, he had a laser gun. Honorable mentions: Beachhead, Jinx, Ripcord, Recondo.
COBRA: COBRA Commander. What an amazing character. I could rewrite this, but I feel it needs to be presented in full:
The Snake-Eyes bit is a little meh, but I love the rest of his backstory. Honorable mentions: Major Bludd (who doesn't love a mercenary who fancies himself a poet?), Destro.

G.I. JOE: Falcon
Dude was easiest the best looking Joe from 1987. People say he was a Flint knock-off but he looked better than Flint.
COBRA: Cobra Commander
It's really hard to choose though. Storm Shadow, Major Bludd, Zartan, Dreadnoks, Destro . . they were all great.

COBRA: Destro, I love the way that he is able to supply weapons under a chocolate confectionary visage G.I.JOE: Beach-head, zero tolerance attitude and his deodorant amnesty

Cobra - Zartan (does he count as Cobra?)
