Have it have an unrealistically expanded philosophy of combining games. Similar to how you could plug Sonics together only you could do that for games on different systems. Battletoads/Double Dragon/Karnov/Shinobi/Rayman? It's yours if you desire.

I'm picturing it more as a system that has a CD tray, and then the cartridge slots just deploy out of hidden compartments, like this super hyper-dimensional rubix cube or something. Dude...you just like...blew my mind with that. And it makes the transformers noise when it does it.

I have a fun idea. Get an emulator for those games. Make your PC into the Dreamcast 2! All you need, is a computer with a ton of hard drive space, and some spray paint to write 'Dreamcast 2' on the side.
I know, I'm awesome. :-D

I might make a Dreamcast 2 out of Play-Doh. Then make one of my cousins eat it. That'd rule.
'Oh no! You ate the only Dreamcast 2 in the world!'

Play-Doh would: a.) gunk up the microchips and whatnot and b.) harden, crack, and fall apart I've seen it happen, it ain't pretty.

Or, you can take an Xbox 360, shove Play-Doh into the cooling fan, before trading it in at Gamestop, and then buy a Wii for some REAL gaming. DO IT!

you know the truth, the DC2 is actually Soundwave! The games become little robots!

I'm trying to picture this system, with a CD tray and covered in cartridge slots of all sorts. It's astounding. I'm picturing it more as a system that has a CD tray, and then the cartridge slots just deploy out of hidden compartments, like this super hyper-dimensional rubix cube or something. Words can not describe how awesome that would be.
