Why such bitterness tonight? Come on, What? ... it wasn't all bad. There had to be something redeeming about the show I'm pretty much a bitter person these past few months so ranting on the net is a nice little release. I just think the show had no redeeming qualities at all apart from Al, who I liked. I wish he'd have stuck his fist in Tim's face though. Wilson's never seen face was corny ass bullshit as well. Ugh, don't get me going any worse, I could rant all day. I'm gona be making more threads highlighting the fact that 8 Simple Rules sucked after Ritter passed, Hope and Faith always sucked (apart from the oldest daughter) and then, THEN...I may even tell you that Scrubs started to suck.

Sorry, I was just going through shows that run on ABC1 over here in the UK. That channel is a black hole of bad re-runs.

I saw that kid who played the youngest son on some prime time special about child stars awhile back. He was pretty much broke and claimed his parents spent his money and wished he saved it or something to that effect. Then he married a woman like twice his age, he looked like a freakin hobo and all I could do was be like Nelson Muntz and go haugh haugh!

Home Improvement was a good show, but it's main problem was that it was family oriented. Thus, as society and television evolved and moved more towards adult-oriented shows, such as Seinfeld and Friends, Home Improvement just had to be pushed aside.

I LOVE Tim Allen, I'll watch almost anything he's in, no matter how stupid. Have you seen him lately? Still looks the EXACT same.

I watched the crap out of that show as a youngster and loved it then. Now, I don't really see what the attraction was. I guess it all boils down to liking Tim Allen as some of you do. Also, LOL at the episode where Brad has pot.

It became a tired formula. After a while, Wilson should have gone to the wife and said, "That romantic crap Tim does? ALL ME! ALL WILSON!"
That would have been the best series finale ever.

I found it funny that they pulled the M.A.S.H treatment and had J.T.T die from Cancer...just because he felt that doing voice over work for Disney ment instant career boost...
Sad that this show was kicking Seinfeld's butt in the ratings for three years...

I was one of the few who watched Seinfeld over Home Improvement.
And yes, JTT had that many fans. My wife (who was 19) fawned over him.

He didn't die from cancer they wrote him out of the show by having him go on a trip to Costa Rica Though yeah, they did give him a "cancer" episode.

I liked it a lot as a kid, but once the kids started growing up, the show jumped the shark. I couldn't stand any of them.

I liked it okay but never got into it that much. The mom could be a little scary.

Brad, the oldest, had the Jason Hervey "wanna punch that kid in the mouth" quality all older brothers seem to have.
The best new kid to fill that particular role, without being an older brother? Moises Arias from "Hannah Montana". Sheesh, I want Jackson to just go off on him.
