Nah, if Turner had made TCM just like he likes it............. Every movie would be colorized....even the technicolor pictures! "Keep his godd*** crayons from my movie!" - Orson Welles, after learning Turner wanted to colorize CITIZEN KANE. You go Blimp! You know, its funny. People called Turner an idiot for spending nearly a billion bucks to buy the ENTIRE MGM/UA film library to show on TV for life, but know you have studios that buy bankrupt/plagued studios simply to just buy their film catalogue libraries. Take MGM. They bought the bankrupted ORION PICTURES to get their hands films like ROBOCOP, PLATOON, SALVADOR, PRINCE OF THE CITY, and THE TERMINATOR. 10 years later, SONY buys up MGM (including United Artists and Orion's works) simply to buy those catalogue titles to goof use on the new Blu-Ray home entertainment format. Hell, digitalbits.com ALWAYS claimed SONY may have paid up for MGM just to get the Bond movies. Which is a possibility. Then WWE buys up AWA, WCW, ECW, St. Louis Atletic Club, Smoky Mountain Wrestling, you name it. 1. It's a good thing someone talked him out of or kept him from colorizing all the black and white movies on TCM. 2. The people who thought that were too stupid to realize how much money could be made from doing that. Turner only quit after colorizing NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD, CASABLANCA, and others. The public backlash was severe, Hollywood figures like Spielberg, Scorsese, Coppola, and others basically s*** on him in public, and oh yeah... people hated the colorized edits.

Like Arnold Schwarzenegger in the 1980s, Flynn honestly probably coudln't act that well, but he had charisma, and an easy-selling aura, and with producers who worked with it....and delivered some major movies of that era. Funny enough, I always thought Timothy Dalton did a charmingly cool Flynn-esque performance in ROCKETEER. *=As for the Flynn-Nazi stuff, I think its hogwash. This was the same guy who basically wrote his last movie as a love letter to Castro. So yeah, consider that fact....
